I've been wanting to ask for sometime, searched through the threads, and didn't see anything mentioned. They toured Germany last year but I was busy with the Stones.
There's a couple songs I love from hearing them on the radio back in the day - I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You and Breakdown from the I Robot album, and Games People Play after that. But generally speaking I'm not too familiar with the band, and know Alan Parsons mainly for his production work on Abbey Road and Dark Side of the Moon.
Quote TooTough I remember Lucifer, Mammagamma, Eye In The Sky and Don´t Answer Me - songs I wouldn´t turn off if they came on the radio.
Classics. (The System of) Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether is another gem. I didn't know he worked Abbey Road and Dark Side until Hairball mentioned it. Appears they are on tour April in Florida [alanparsonsmusic.com]
I experienced their awesome lethality first hand when I saw them at the Beacon Theater in New York in 1995. Kansas opened for them. First concert my wife and I ever attended together. Good show.
Tales, Pyramid and Friendly Card were really big and much-appreciated albums in my youth (the other ones not so much). Personally, I lost interest after Eye, which is the last good APP album to me.
