"No Stopping" as a philosophy; "You got ta keep on rollin'"

Roll with the punches. You keep on doing it, no matter what. Keith once said to Slash about leaving GNR "the one thing you never do is quit." The new tour name (I presume) lead me to thinking about how ingrained this is into the Stones ethos ever since the beginning and why it speaks to us fans. Maybe they represent this drive above all else, and have since 1962. Kind of inspirational and also subtle, no?

You got ta keep on rollin'
You got ta keep on rollin'
You got ta keep on rollin'
You got ta keep on rollin'
You got ta keep on rollin'
You got ta keep on rollin'

It's not completely true though. Maybe for Keith but not the band. There have been long gaps of inactivity between tours and records. As Charlie put it: "Five years of work, twenty years of hanging around".

I believe "there's NO STOPPING me" is a lyric near the fade out of "You Got Me Rocking" just as "I don't need NO SECURITY" was a lyric in "One Hit to the Body." Meaningless, I know, but it sort of interests me.

They take breaks, but they never quit

I hope they don't revive the track Don't Stop, the worst regular on the Licks tour.

If No Stopping is the name of the tour then I think that's a very encouraging sign in terms of future projects.
