Interesting comments about MR under that video.Especially, when this is how Mick described the writing process:

"That's a song Keith and I really wrote together. We were on a holiday in Italy. In this very beautiful hill town, Positano, for a few nights. Why we should write such a dark song in this beautiful, sunny place, I really don't know. We wrote everything there - the tempo changes, everything".

The soundtrack to the clip was rather fitting, regarding the Going Home/Midnight Rambler-thread grinning smiley

Yeah I know but I never said they didnt write the actual song in Positano (very cool story and very impressive composing) I spoke about the producing, the creative process in the studio. Nevermind. smiling smiley

Great film huh? Stunning really. And Mick looked like a demon during that time. I ve been to Positano a few times and it reall does look like it on the film.

I think his vocals on the Let it Bleed album are some of his finest if not the best. Good to see you on board the love for the studio version of Rambler. Underrated as hell. Keiths work on the rhythm (really a lead rhythm) and the 12-string slide (never ever recaptured live) is just dark and heavy.
