"This video contains content from Eagle Rock. It is not available in your country."

I didn't realize Bill was owned by Eagle Rock. I thought they airbrushed him out ages ago.

Is that you Siw at 4.22??

It's funny that Andy Bell and Bill shares the same demeanour as bass players in two of the biggest British bands of all time. There is something with playing the bass which prevents one from being too gregarious. Very interesting, a great theme for a psychology essay perhaps....?

Great interview with Bill as well.

The sound is from Still Life? Listen to Keith's solo (the ending)..

I think so too, DP. Saw this program back in 1982 (I think...). A funny thing is that Mick is dressed in Djurgården (Stockholm football club) colours and they are in Gothenburg!

Yeah, that's too funny grinning smiley

What baffles me about the sound is that it sounds like it's taken from Still Life, but not mixed...

I have the Gothenburg-bootlegs, and Keith's solo was indeed different. This solo is identical to the East Rutherford-version that's on SL.

And every Swede have fond memories of Clock burgers. I still remember the sound of those fries (a disgusting slurp instead of a nice crunch). RIP clock.

But have you guys seen any footage from Gothenburg before? I think maybe somebody had som Super 8 on youtube but I can't remember. Did NRK cover the whole concert? I know there is a famous sound boot but actual HQ footage?

The only footage of this show besides this one I saw was a snippet from Aktuellt with Lennart Ekdahl. By the way, this show was called Zikk-Zakk and was aired in late 1982: [tv.nrk.no]

I've only seen this program earlier. Don't think NRK has the whole concert.

By the way, for J Geils Band fans, from about 36:00 in the program there is an interview with Peter Wolf and some live snippets of J Geils band. 00:00 - 36:00 is Stones material including an interview with Bill Wyman.

This interview proves (once again and by far) that the most valuable source for stones history is Bill.

It is because of excerpts from the Hampton 1981 show
