Floor Tickets Vs. Field Level Tickets

Hi all

I have always wanted to get field tickets for a show but never had the $. This time I think I can swing it but my main concern is whether my 5"6 wife will be able to see the stage. So I turn to you, the experts...

In your opinion which is better - floor tickets from the mid to the back of the section or fairly close field tickets?

I anxiously await your responses!

Eric

My humble opinion is that field level are better if you can't get "close" floor tickets. Being a little vertically-challenged myself, I have found field tickets to sometimes be a problem if you're towards the back. Field level should give you and the missus a little better angle.

simple solution I've used before with my 5'4" (and shrinking) wife - bring a small 10" step - you know those little steps used by the kids when brushing their teeth. Works like a charm.

Go for field level. If I can't get the first few rows on the floor, I'll always try field level. Some venues won't allow you to stand on the seats or bring anything in to stand on.

At MSG i had two tickets (long story, posted elsewhere i wont bore you with it, suffice it to say i only paid for one) one was floor and one was section 125. i checked both out and the floor seat was in the back, while my other seat was closer (as the crow flies), with a better sight line and a perfect view right on top of b stage. And i saved 281 bucks! save your money for another show later in the tour!!
