Tonight's story begins 43 years ago in Dartford, Kent, where Jagger and Richards, two avid American R 'n' B fans, first compared record collections. But what is it that singles them out? Family, friends and fans discuss sex, drugs, controversy and, of course, unforgettable music.

Excellent documentary - but the Beeb broadcast it on the night of one of the Licks shows at Twickers, which made me think that at least 60,000 prospective viewers were otherwise engaged...
