rumours of more european dates next summer - hope this comes off. They seem to like summers in Europe, whilst just adding a couple of massive baseball gigs in the US afterwards
The last proper US arena tour was in 2014... I know we’ve had a handful of stadium gigs since, but it almost always requires lengthy traveling to the gig, unless you live in a particularly lucky US city.
I get it if they’re not interested in 40 shows in 8 weeks or whatever anymore, but even a _slight_ increase in the number of US shows would be extremely welcome.

Yup, new album, finally.
tour of america 1st leg, 2nd leg europe this summer, 3rd leg rumored back to america. Trying to cash in on some built up marital capital and convince my wife so i can go to at least 3 shows. We'll see. Been seeing this band since 1994, and its always a great joy to bare witness to a great pearl jam arena show. Last few shows in the states have been in baseball stadiums, just awful . . .

Damn, MSG on a Monday...I think I'm going to have to skip that and hope that if they come back to America for another leg, they play something a little more convenient for me.

Agree, it's such a great song!
I don't get the bashing by some, they have so many great tunes
... Not For You, Dissident, Alive, Even Flow, Corduroy, Satan's Bed, No Way
I can't even think of all of them, the list goes on. Still, I think Rearviewmirror does top them all!

Do the Evolution is epic live. Studio version does it no justice.

Yes! Love that song, but to me, the studio version is EPIC!

The studio is good, no doubt...but it's sorta like their "Midnight Rambler" for me...the band just seems to really lean-in when they play it live.

I love when the "choir" part kicks in ("ooohhhh"). Do they do that live too?
This is a unique song by their standards, but I dig it.Quote

Pearl Jam is back. New single "Dance of the Clairvoyants"
I love the lyrics and Eddie's vocals but its back to the 80's sounds like Talking Heads, and not the grunge sound I was hoping for. I wonder if Matt Cameron had a hand in this song.

yup. Same w/ me. Lame showing in the Northeast.
I think they'll add more dates or come back later.
Hartford crowd is always top-notch.
"Ain't Talkin' Bout Love" was great last time they played there.
See you there!

They are playing some US stadium dates in the late summer. Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, and Citi Field and Seattle are likely.

Ugh...I'm sick of the Baseball Stadium thing...I can't speak to all of them, but Fenway is a lousy place to see a show, IMO. Acoustics aren't very good and there is a total lack of intimacy w/ the layout.
there's so many other good/better places to play in the Northeast.

totally agree stickyfingers101. t mobile park in seattle is terrible for concerts. bad sound, bad sight lines, storm trooper ushers on power trips & living in a giant t mobile commercial. the football stadium one block away is far superior in all aspects. tom petty played t mobile a few weeks before he died. sadly, the sound was terrible. they actually professionally filmed it & there are no plans to release. indicates how bad it was. that being said, pearl jam were great there. i don't think i'm going to spend $100+ to go see them there again though.
