Does anybody know what sunglasses Keith is wearing in recent years? They look massive and greenish and he frequently wears them at least since Spring 2014 (e.g. Berlin 2014 and also in his most recent "Happy new year" video).

More likely to draw potential attention away from themselves..
With a hat and sunglasses on, even a hardcore fan may question themselves..

If I had strangers staring at me all day I would also hide behind sunglasses.....

Reminds me of the story about British 60s singer Kathy Kirby.
Later in life she became very reclusive, when she left her Kensington,London flat to go to the local supermarket, out came the fur coat, large sunglasses, hat etc.
Even in the summer.

Of course, everybody (locally) knew who she was.
Maybe that was the point.

Can't remember who, but one celebrity when asked what they most feared about the future said, "when I go out and nobody recognises me".

We discussed that in 2014 and I poured over dozens of pictures to find the exact model...and I finally did : Nike Vintage MDL 98 EV0689 the "237 - Tortoise / Green / Grey with Yellow Flash Lens" version. I imported a pair of these from Amazon US and have only worn them once, of the 001 - Black / Grey Lens that I wear regularly and of the "207 - Tortoise / Yellow / Grey with Gold Lens" that are great on the beach ;-)

Good luck finding them now though, possibly on eBay...There's a site in the US that shows all these models but I doubt they actually have them.

They are pretty cool.
Found a pair in tortoise yellow that I'm contemplating..

Could be same place you mentioned, but the seller here has a high rating, assuming place is legit. Gonna give em a try I believe, glasses can be tough for me with out trying, but the price seems good.

Sure ! I've got that yellow model and they're a bit "flashy" with their "gold" lenses, nice for the summer/beach ;-) Keith's version is mode "subdued". eBay should be fine, I was referring to a website that shows all versions available and that's very unlikely.

Boy George's memoir comes to mind, where he's in Jamaica with a gay friend who's repining that Keith Richards is on the island but George won't take him to meet Keith. Finally George takes his sunglasses-wearing friend and Keith is nice to them both and they visit and leave. But George's friend forgets his sunglasses. So they return to Keith's front door, where they can see through a front window Keith inside wearing the gay friend's sunglasses, mincing effeminately in impersonation of George's friend.

Maybe perpetual sunglass wearers need glasses to see properly - but ordinary glasses don't look so cool.
