Totally cool punkfloyd! This is a dream of mine too!

Feel free to tell more about it, little things that are cool... and/or tips on how to make it KNOCK!
What child/teenager of the 50s-70s doesn't love that pinball KNOCK! sound?

OK, some more details. I "came of age" in the late 70s and early 80s and rather than Pac-Man, Asteriods or Donkey Kong, I always went straight to the pinballs in the arcade. So when a local collector shop recently posted a picture of their pinballs on their Facebook page...I saw The Rolling Stones pinball! I sent them a message to see if it was even a financial possibility. Long story short, we worked out a trade where I swapped a Bally 'Mystic' pinball plus a bit of cash for my dream machine. Pinball people are the nicest on the planet. He delivered, set it up and even gave some flexibility on cash portion. (I paid in full).

It has plenty of cosmetic issues to the stenciled artwork, but the playfield is very good and electromechanical bits work perfectly. I had a pinball technician come and service it and he just needed to adjust one flipper and replace some bulbs.

I must admit I expected to hear more Stones riffs and sound effects. As it is, I think it only plays Miss You and Satisfaction. Playing it, while listening to The Stones, is just sublime. Mostly because I never imagined the day would come!

Thanks for all the nice comments! Rolling Stones people are even better than pinball people!!

LOL! It was the best a Stones fan could get in 1984 so it still has a place in my heart. Neat to see Mick and Bill interact particularly as he would leave just 7 years later.

Congratulations - I've always wanted one. I have a very hazy memory as a 12/13 year old on a coach trip to France in the early 80s seeing one in a bar that we drove past but that's the closes I've ever been to one.

Beautiful Man! I have looked for one myself - but the condition was always so bad. I have fond memories of playing the machine at a Omaha blues club in the 80’s. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

Curious how many IORR fans have a RS pinball, I purchased the Bally 1980 pinball in July 2016 from a Recording Studio in Nashville (near mint) and shipped it to Sydney Australia, purchase price was $4,000 USD, another $300 for freight within US to my agent and $550 US to freight it to Australia. Will put some photos up shortly.

There were 5,700 of the 1980 machines produced.
