Sorry to hear about your loss Nate, went through a similar experience a few years ago with the loss of my Dad. We were very close, all i can say is that time is a healer, the pain gets more tolerable over time.

i'm sorry for your loss. i went through that 3 years ago. be strong & take care of yourself.

Sorry to see this. Cancer is awful. My wife died from it in September. Hold your head up somehow.

Sorry for your loss Nate I too have lost my father and can tell you time will heal your sadness, just focus on the great times you had together look at pictures videos etc

Most people on here have never met each other but we all share a wonderful thing with the music and that is why I wrote about this on here because we all know that the music is something we all can't live without and it's a great help at times like this.

Very sorry, Nate. I lost my 89 year-old father and my brother in a fire this year so I can totally relate. My Dad was still sharp as a tack and both he and my brother were my best friends. Hold your memories close and cherish them.

I am so sorry, Nate. Cancer is a horrible disease. Take comfort in the fact that your dad is no longer in pain.

Nate, I commented earlier in the thread but I wanted to add this. Think about the fact that he is at peace now. Yes, you will miss him terribly but one fine day, you will surely be together again. I lost my mom 25 years ago and although I certainly don't feel as if I'd like to leave this world at this point, I do know that each day that passes brings me closer to the time I will see her again. Hugs to you Nate.

Hi Nate, we do not know each other in person, but I understand exactly how you can feel. I lost my mother last year and the sense of emptiness and loss has taken the place in me. But time and memories have filled that void.
