Congrats to those going to the Guildford shows. Still holding out hope for some 2026 RAH shows.

Saw EC in Philly last Fall. Fun show all the way around. Not an empty seat in the venue that I could see.

As I quoted upthread, in the foreword of Where’s ERIC! issue 54, published in December last year, editor-in-chief Tony Edser comments, “…for now, we understand there will be no RAH shows next year but other, dare I say, more interesting, UK appearances”, “Eric himself announced another Crossroads Festival coming up in Austin, Texas next September”, “Expect a brace of US shows to be set up for prior to the event.” So there is a chance you can catch him live in the U.S. later this year.

I hope he will add the RAH shows to the tour itinerary, though. The dates 21-25 May are still void in ‘What’s On’ on the venue’s website and the European tour finishes on the 17th. So why not?

BTW did you attend the RAH show last year?

RS, I was unable to attend due to a health issue that came up in the Spring. I had great tickets with the VIP stuff, before show dinner and all. Thankfully I had purchased the "ticket protect" when I bought the tickets. They reimbursed me for everything. I think they were happy to get those tickets back. Someone wound up with some great seats that they did not expect would be available.

As far as RAH this year. As long as the RAH is booked before and after those May dates I will continue to hold out hope. There is a reason those dates haven't been filled.......

So you missed the opportunity to hear Let It Grow live 2025, a rare outing on the RAH second night — like I did, too. Went to the third and final night and Eric didn’t play it again, to my disappointment. Such a temperamental artist that he is.

I wonder Team EC is observing the sales of the Sandringham show in August to finalize the decision to give the go-ahead to RAH.

Yeah I agree there is still hope whilst the dates are available! smiling smiley The RAH shows over the past 12 years I've been going seem to have regularly fallen in May so let's hope so, for me there is something very special about seeing Eric there!

Yeah, we all think of the gig when RAH is mentioned, right?

A guest-spot, or as an opener?

I guess this answers the question if the Stones will be playing this summer. I don't think he'd be doing a show, which will involve rehearsals, if his other band was touring.

Sounds good, we should have a second thread because people bored club by EC won't read this

Agreed. 2027, then? Mick may be 84 by this time, but the 'new boy', Ronnie, will only be 80! winking smiley

Rumoured tour was to end in July, so that would not have hindered a performance on August 23rd.

Ronnie is a support act for Eric’s Sandringham show, playing for an hour max, supposedly. I don’t think the rehearsals will bind him that much for the job.

With King Charles’ Royal cypher on the advertisement, this all looks rather posh. Do attendees get complementary prawn mayonnaise and tuna and cucumber sandwiches?

Come on, this probably would be a thing too if they haven't aborted the tour.
His Band surely contains Imelda May and Ben Waters

Good point.
The event was announced on November 27 last year, with “PLUS VERY SPECIAL GUESTS” on the ad, more than two weeks before the announcement of the Stones’ tour cancellation, December 14.
It is safe to assume who are to play for the guest slots were already fixed confidentially at that point, with the Stones’ work schedule in mind.

RAH ‘What’s On’ update: now the 21st of May is taken by Mitsuki.
22-25 still vacant.

Fingers crossed.

September U.S. Midwest tour announced:

In the meantime, RAH May 24 is taken by Trisha Paytas.
Technically speaking, though, Eric could play 22, 23 and 25 (Friday, Saturday and Monday) so there is still a chance.
