Crossroads Guitar Festival 2023......

Garbage link from a ticket broker. Bet if you check hard you will find links for the Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd 2023 links too.

You are confused.

I never provided a link in my message.

are nosebleeds for his current tour really 400 bucks??! Thought I'd check the prices for the Toronto show and the lowest end of the price slider thing was 390 or something like that. Who is PAYING this?

"The Royal Albert Hall is Eric Clapton’s home away from home in London. Since his debut at the historic venue with the Yardbirds in 1964, Clapton has performed there over 200 times.
Eric also holds the record for the longest run of concerts at the venue. He set it in 1990 with 18 shows, then broke it the following year with 24 concerts. They were some of the most ambitious shows of Clapton’s career.
Each night featured him performing a career-spanning set with one of three lineups – a rock band, a blues band, or an orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen.
To commemorate that record-setting run, Clapton released 24 NIGHTS in October 1991. The double live album and home video delivered great performances but only covered a fraction of what was filmed and recorded.
All the audio and video from 24 NIGHTS was painstakingly restored and upgraded by Clapton for THE DEFINITIVE 24 NIGHTS, which will be available on limited edition boxed sets as either 6-CDs or 8-LPs on June 23.
Both versions come with three Blu-ray discs for the video content, a hardbound book, and an individually numbered lithograph featuring a photograph of Clapton by Carl Studna.
Standalone versions of the individual concerts – 24 NIGHTS: ROCK, 24 NIGHTS: BLUES, and 24 Nights: ORCHESTRAL – will be released the same day in 2-CD/DVD and 3-LP (Rock and Orchestral) and 2-LP (Blues) configurations."

Too bad the BR format is only available on the too costly boxset for me.
If you take the standalone versions of the individual concerts you get only DVD instead.
I will never understand their (dirty) marketing strategy.
Sorry I will pass on it.

DVD or bluray – what's the point? Those shows were filmed in 1990/91. They upgraded the footage, of course. But that doesn't turn it into bluray quality. I bet nobody will be able to see any difference when comparing the DVDs and the blurays

BR is great to get uncompressed audio as it is a mandatory feature.
Not DVD.

And this is not just a 4/3 upscale of standard SD resolution, they are featuring split screen.

video: [www.youtube.com]

A missed opportunity at these orchestral shows was to get a real piano.

Nonetheless the orchestral show worked great.SOYL was mindblowing.

LOL I have no need for physical media. Go back under your rock. I have given Clapton more money over the past 20 years than most people and choose not to continue. Also l already have all the material so only thing I would be buying is plastic and paper.

I remember when the original 24 Nights was released back in 1991, and there were some stunningly great performances on that release.
And now this massive deluxe release....looks like a beautiful box set. thumbs up

Just back from under my rock I'd like to note that in your previous post you said: "Will download it but not spending any of my dough on it." Now you say you have all the material already. Something does not quite add up here!

Look at the posting above. Everything was released before. Why would I spend money to buy the same thing again especially when having the paper and plastic serves no purpose. I don't need to justify anything I do to you regardless. Go back under your rock .

Not officially, apart from the original "24 Nights" audio/video, of course. But that has not anything to do with my above post.

Besides, if you publicly justify illegal downloading of official material with not sharing the artist's view on certain subjects you need to be prepared for a public discussion about your own morals. But I see you prefer to stay tight-lipped what is telling me enough, so I go back under my rock now.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I wouldn't bring up morals here if I was you.
