Good summary, yeah, from what I know from certain people it's a mixture of all the reasons you mentioned. Personally, the thing that still excites me concerning the band is their vault releases, and, to a lesser degree, the prospect of an all-new album. Live shows? C'mon...! I can understand the enthusiam of younger fans, but for people like me it's simply too much of the same thing. And I'm not the only one...

A number have been banned.
I'd like to propose an amnesty program for all banned posters that have not engaged in any criminal activity in the years since they've been banned.
I'd also recommend that with continued good behaviour we seek full citizenship in IORR for these formerly wayward Stones fans that are working illegally but generally staying out of trouble.
I'll be taking applications for amnesty starting next week...there will be a small service fee for the application (under $100) but you'll get 20% of this returned to you if your application isn't accepted by BV.

Maybe i'm not being optimistic, there are a few tracks on Crosseyed Heart that make me think, well a bit of Mick's fairy dust on Hearstopper , Nothing On Me or Something For Nothing and who knows, with those famous lips cutting through those songs with a bit more Jagger Swagger and we have a big hit on our hands.

I signed on to this site 13 years ago and have 1259 posts, most I would guess posted before the 50th anniversary shows. I still read the site every day, so I consider myself a regular. Breaking news that you can trust will be found here first and even gossip that is credible shows up no where else first. But after a thousand posts its hard to get involved in another Woods VS Taylor argument. Its hard to come up with a new angle on the Jagger/Richards relationship when you finally gain the wisdom that you really know nothing about either gentleman.
I have met some the most incredible people because of this site. Without IORR I would never have found one of the most special individuals of my entire life, someone I will love and hold dear after all the concerts are over. I will lurk here as long as the site exists I imagine. There just comes a time when you have nothing new to add I guess.

The last time I posted here I was accused of been a troll.After 12 years (did we re register as it seems longer) I find it too full of negativity , especially in regards to Keith's abilities. There's plenty of reasons people have gone away, but been shot down by certain keyboard warriors is near the top. Just not worth the hassle.
