Besides Jagger, Mick Taylor really was the star of that tour.

I read comments about how Taylor never moves on stage (and by implication is "boring"), but when the camera in this movie is on his fingers the view is thrilling. The LIV performance is one of the band's great moments on stage.

Who cares how he moved on the stage, its all about the way he shreds that guitar!

Not a bad concert flick, but the cinematography has much to be desired.

They were working with concert lighting, but I like the placement of the cameras.

Unlike a lot of concert films, the cameras weren't placed in the audience, where you are looking up their noses.

Sometimes the images in L&G have a flat look, because they were filming from a distance with long lenses. What I like is that on so many shots, you are right in the middle of the action, as if you were on stage with them.

The energy level as they begin Street Fighting Man is incredible. Keith is nearly levitating off the stage in ecstasy.
