Over the years I found lots of useful information on this site. It helped me to how get into clubsshows for instance. Thanks for making this possible BV
Kudos to Bjornulf for setting up and running this excellent and very useful website. It's created an international community of fans and friendships and, very worthy of mention, the IORR Band. It's been a great tool for buying and selling tickets and arranging fan get togethers. I've even met a couple who got together through this site! I won't say who they are but I believe they live in Austria.
I've met Bjornulf a couple of times and know him on sight. He's a private and very hard working guy and a real gent.
On 14 on Fire, he gave me and 3 other fans a lift into Oslo City Centre in his car after the final rehearsals at the Telenor, slowing down and showing us all the precise spot where the Stones played their 1st ever Oslo shows in 1965. This year, I was walking round the huge Stadtpark in Hamburg on rehearsals day and I asked him if anything much had happened yet. He told me the crew had tested the sound and the rehearsals would start later, before tipping me off about a good listening spot - and believe me, it turned out to be an excellent listening spot!
Thanks for all your hard work and great that you've kept it non commercial.
Thanks for all the kind words. It has been a great tour. There were times when I was very tired, wasting days and with very little sleep because of going home between shows. Then I got energy by the new shows, and also by meeting many fans, old and new friends on tour. I wish I could meet and talk to more, but life is short and the hours are only 24 every day. See you on tour again in UK next year.
Glad to see this thread, and I met Bjornulf in San Diego. I tried to buy him lunch but he gave me a $20 and it is now a trophy item for me. It is on my 1976 Stones poster with a few tickets and a pick from Keith at Dodger Stadium. Remarkable fellow. I hope his family can forgive him for all the work he does for all of uS!
