Weird that they sound check All Down The Line and then not perform it.

Soundcheck is for the next show but also for the shows AFTER the next show. Also, if they don't like it, or don't get it to work perfect, then they may change.

Isn't it for the band to get a feeling for the venue as well? All Down The Line is a song where everyone are on stage, including backing vocalists and saxophone players. Tumbling Dice is another example of that kind of song, which I've learned is a typical soundcheck song.

overall good concert last night. This is my second on this tour after Barcelona, Short impressions:
- organisation was perfect, very fast through security, wristbands for Fosse Or at the entrance.no problem at all, public transport was excellent.
- Keith was moving more and seemed in better shape than Barca. and was smoking all the time
- Ronnie was kind of absent sometimes
- I prefer Barca show by far, the sound was much better
- Crowd was good
- Didn't like the sound at all in Arena, and it was really different depending on the position. On the left side of the stage, the sound from the band was very flat and missing keyboards/ horns.... don't know how to describe it in the best way, but could be better. in the middle it was different.
- Under my thumb - in Barcelona it was a highlight for me, while yesterday it sounded very slow ;-) but loved LSTNT

overall good, can be better. sorry to read about the mess up with the pit tickets, hope everyone had fun at the end

The Chuck Leavell Appreciation Society are very vocal between the 12 and 30 second mark in this video:

Hehe...they were in fact my direct neighbours (I can be heard "ohooing" at 2'30") and after a while I asked her why she kept shouting "Chuck Leavell we love you" (her husband seemed a tad embarrassed) and she explained that they'd met him at the hotel, had diner with him (she didn't say if he shared his infamous coffee machine story with them), that he was a lovely man and that he'd given them the tickets. I guess that's a good a reason as any to become a fan ;-) Ironically though they didn't choose the best side of the pit to admire him as we could barely see him from our position.

BTW - that "JOSE LUIS LUIS" character appears to be stealing videos left and right, unless he has the ability to teleport himself all over the stadium.

I have a question on behalf of my wife, who will be joining me for wednesday's gig - What size small handbags were allowed in ? I think the rules said 150mm x120mm but that is ridiculous apparently

Also , I have a small clip on lense for my phone camera.Would it be picked up in a search ?

Yes - 15cm x 12cm has been the norm at all shows. Anything bigger and you are made to put in in a cloakroom (usually miles away from the entrance to the venue) for a fee. I saw an unbelievably long queue of people waiting to retrieve their bags after Stockholm. They must've had to wait for hours...

Re-searches, the frisk usually covers front and sides only and not behind

My thoughts? F**** genius! I was I think a couple of meters in front of you and took around 400 pictures - maybe 3 of them only got close to the quality of your images. What camera did you shot those with? In manual setting? And if so, do you have a "standard" setup you are willing to share to help an amateur?

Don't bother about clip on lenses.... Keep it with your phone and in your hand when you walk through security. Searches were tight - even on the back - ha. But there is no evil in carrying a clip on lense. For the bag: had no problem whatsoever carrying in a 10x13cm bag, only had to open it and show my camera inside.
