Oh rats, was looking forward to seeing them at The Gorge. Obviously, their health comes first. Hope it's nothing too serious.

Now they will not have to play in the hottest part of the summer, which may be a silver lining. Hope there are some more shows when everyone is up for it.

Between this news, and Willie having to take some nights off on the Outlaw Tour, I am even more impressed with the Stones ability to keep up their pace.

I’m trying to console myself with thoughts of Neil in Rogers later this year, it won’t be 2 nights in the park with Him but I’ll take one indoors over none! I’m pretty sure my hopes are in vain…..
I wonder what happened as to cancel dates almost a month away is kinda strange, it must be something more than covid or whatever, but as Javadave mentioned just above it reemphasize‘s the Stones ability to keep the pace at their ages.

Oh,shoot! (Understatement.)
I wonder if/when he'll reschedule.

I also wonder what kind of sickness has taken hold.
Sounds serious...if cancelling three months out.

My gut was really telling me to go to San Diego, glad I listened.

Based on some reviews it's probably a good thing this tour was cancelled.

They were completely on top of their game in Franklin, TN. There are always going to be “some reviews,” that are negative. Did you see them on this tour? Aren’t you the one often criticizing Stones shows you never went to? If not, I apologize, if so, maybe it’s a bit ridiculous to judge things you weren’t a part of, and even more ridiculous to judge a whole tour on “some reviews.” Some people think the world is flat.

So, to those who actually saw a NY&CH show, how was it? The one in Franklin, TN was 10/10.

NashvilleBlues - I saw Neil and the Horse in Mansfield MA a few weeks ago - one of the last shows it seems - I thought they were friggin great. Like a 10 minute Hurricane to end it. Tremendous.

Thank you for your response. Obviously opinions always vary, but I find it very hard to believe that any Neil Young fan would not think he is putting on anything but an elite show.

From this review it sounds like old age has taken hold of the rhythm section.

The whole tour was documented almost in real time with exc+ tapes posted at Dime and imho the playing was slow and plodding.
I deleted all my torrents from this tour.

There's no link (or review) but Jem Aswad of Variety was quite critical of the recent Forest Hills NY show.

The DC area (Bristow VA) show May 11th kicked ass.

I’m done wasting my money on these. Last one I bought ended up being a crappy audience recording from 1973. Seriously Neil? The store wouldn’t give me a refund for an open cd so now it’s wasting space on my shelf. GRRRRR!!!

Neil Young Archives Vol. III (1976-1987):

That is 6 Cds will cover the 80's... Neil's lost decade (allright he recovered in 1989 with "Freedom").
Hopefully the box will include some samples from the Down Under 1985 shows which were impressive.

I'd love to see this. Can I muster the money for something that is unclear how much they'd really play together? Looks like a great day and its only an hour from me...

I know he's mentioned this tour being an East coast tour, but I sure hope he changes his mind and adds some dates out west.
