I was there and I found the aircon sounds a little weird in between songs but they didn't distract me from the actual show. I'm not a good judge for the sound where I was standing (2nd row No Filter pit, Keith's side) because I have a tinnitus and wear ear protection (which I believe is broken and I need to replace). I need to be close to the stage in order to be able to fully enjoy a show so I LOVED this one, especially compared to Munich where I was in GA standing. I especially enjoyed watching the facial expressions of Keith and also Ronnie. I believe that these are things that make a concerts great memories, noone wants to look at "robots". 800€ is a lot of money and I don't regret forking out this amount. I do still believe that it's overpriced though. Because I had such a good time I think I would pay that much again but wouldn't be able to do more than one show per tour at this price. But I also think because they had to fill the Pit with Lucky Dips they will somewhat reduce the prices again in the future.

Anyways, does anybody have any close-up clips of "Brown Sugar"? (I found a couple on youtube but they are filmed from further away)

Also if anybody could direct me to websites for "bootlegs" that don't require being a member for ages etc. (not Dime...) I'd be grateful!

And the review is...?

The "noise" in the Esprit Arena should be well known to the people who go there for football games, I assume. It is the same sort of "standing waves" you hear when you drive through a long road tunnel.

Since it was there between the songs, when The Rolling Stones did not play loud, I assume it is a mechanical nise source that is making static noise between the arena walls, at an amplified level.

At first I thought it was the crowd, making like an "Icelandic football roar", but as it was between every song during the second half of the show, I assume it is the air condition hitting hard as the show went on, and the venue got warmed up by 50,000 people.

BV, as we talk about acoustics,at the moment, I wonder how the acoustics could be at the "unknown" (musically) U Arena, in Paris. As we know, the Stones will be the first band to ever perform a concert in U Arena. I think that stadium's structure is similar to the structure of Telenor Arena, but U Arena has much bigger capacity. You know very well Telenor Arena, you have huge experience attending gigs, so I would like to know your "predictions" about U Arena acoustics.

PS Yes, I have ticket for the third concert in Paris.

Apart from the photos taken with good or professional cameras which have been shared here over the years by many users (the usual suspects ), there's a lot of great photos which were taken with cellphones, like yours.

Belated but here is my take on the show.
A last minute Lucky Dipper ("Danke schön, Peter"), I was standing a few meters forward of the left sound booth. The overall sound was very good where I was.
I felt the general responses from the crowd tad reserved, if not lame. The standing floor was quite enthusiastic, while I observed roughly 2/3 of the stands were sitting throughout the show, quite a few of them until the end of the encore.
For the first three quarters of an hour or so, I was slightly underwhelmed by the performance, average, standard, more or less, which may do some justice to the remarks on some comments here, i.e. autopilot, dialling it in etc. But things definitely picked up thereafter, and it only got better and better as the show progressed. MR and SFM were highlights for me, the latter especially the best live version I have been treated to so far -- the interconnecting, almost telepathic vibe between Keith and Ronnie during the prolonged final portion and Mick watching them in awe is an unforgettable moment. All in all, this is another strong, if not the greatest, RS show I have attended.
