It would be great to see Mike Pinder and Ray Thomas rejoin Hayward/Lodge/Edge onstage for a performance: [www.youtube.com]

Yes...Mike Pender...he seems to have had a very low profile since leaving The Moodies.
Dies he still live in the States?

Yes, I believe he does.
You know, he kept such a low profile that he didn't even tell his children what he did before. Around the time he left the Moodies he was starting a new family -- and one day one of his children mentioned that someone at school had told them that their father was once in a famous band.
Ray Thomas had to stop touring around 15 years ago due to non-life-threatening diseases that require the sort of strict control over diet that can't be done on the road. But he's still around.
I recommend this DVD (from 2005 or so). Mike Pinder participated, but Ray Thomas did not. It has a bonus audio CD of early tracks from bands members were in before the Moodies.

Come on, Judas Priest!
Just keep in mind that Wenner and Rolling Stone are MASSIVELY biased against heavy metal, and have been for decades. Bands like Priest, Maiden, Motorhead should have objectively been inducted years ago.Quote

Still no Jethro Tull, the most deserving act never to have even been nominated.
