A sad reminder of why security at gigs is much tighter and why revealing the location of well-known people (like the band's hotel) is risky.
The shooter in Las Vegas was firing from a room only 3 or 4 floors below the Stones' (and their team's) hotel rooms last year...

cnn:
"The shooter had a significant advantage due to his elevated
position, James Gagliano, retired FBI supervisory special agent,
told CNN. And with 30,000 people packed into a small area, "he
just had to point at the center ... and squeeze the trigger," he added.
Watching footage of the shooting, he said that the gun sounded
like a military belt-fed weapon. The pauses in between bouts of
shooting suggest that the gunman was either changing the magazines
or trying to barricade himself into the room to prevent police from
entering, he said."
And a law for gun control is not necessary?

Holy shit.
Well...just another day in America. Can't wait to see how the White House occupant responds.

Tragic.
No doubt the NRA will come up with some other absurd argument in favour of gun proliferation though.

So sad and senseless.
As the NRA and Congress try to loosen gun laws (again) in our country by making gun silencers more easily available. Enough.
The mass shooting was (as usual) carried out by a (white) domestic terrorist.

As usual? Not in Europe. Besides there's no proof of terrorism at all.

I'm so sorry for all of this. Another act of terrorism. I hope it will stop one day. Don't know when. I'm not in a very positive mood today, but I still believe love, sympathy and empathy are the only way to move forward.

We're discussing the US.
If this isn't terrorism, nothing is.
We tried love and empathy last year and got punched in the face as a result. America is a spiteful, vindictive, small-minded country full of narcissists. I'll be damned if I know what the solution is.Quote

This is not terrorism. If he has an agenda, left or rightwing or the typical dominating one it is terrorism.
