Mybe something about a new tongue design for the tour.

In my kitchen...woo!

Hello. With apologies to anyone who's already raised this point; presuming those dates on the tour page are even vaguely close to the truth, am I the only one questioning how they're deciding to tour again during the football World Cup (when both England and the Republic of Ireland have qualified)? This has bitten them in the arse before. Or perhaps it's simply, in the huge number of considerations to be made around a tour, not sufficiently important.

Declan

Declan, If those dates where not "vaguely close to the truth" they would have not been posted. Cheers

Hello,

On the strength of all this nonsense, I've booked at The Travelodge in Twickenham for the Friday and Saturday nights!

Plus, England play Panama on the Sunday at 1pm. Post-show sesh, anyone?

Cheers,

Simon.

..getting the itch again.... This is like waiting for christmas when one were a child... If the dates are correct I would like to think we can expect quite a few shows starting in Dublin and then on to the U.K....

Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle as well as Cardiff perhaps..? ...with the finale in London..?

The Rolling Stones are cooking something up for you, stay tuned...

since the colours are black, red and yellow, i.e. the colours of the German flag, it surely means: UK tour cancelled, more shows in Germany grinning smiley

It also seems RS.com changed the tour page recently. There's a button for signing up for the newsletter.

FWIW when you choose your country from the drop-down menu, UK and Ireland are the first two countries to come up...

Something‘s cooking.

Looking at social media activity for the tour last year, they gave the first tour-related hint 3rd May. Announcement 9th May.

So can we expect an annoucement next week?

Gap between announcement and first show in 2017 were 4 months. Only 3 months remaining to the rumored Croke Park date. It‘s time, isn‘t it?

Saw Macca's pancake tweet as well..
"Start Me Up" playing on the stones clip has me optimistic that it's not just
a Mardi Gras greeting though.. Never never never stop!

Just a post about pancakes on Shrove Tuesday is one thing but to say "stay tuned" and invite people to sign up to a mailing list about "ticket presales" among other things is another. Besides, conveniently coincidental with the rumors flying around.

I guess we just have to see what they come up with next on social media.

Southampton stadium gig rumoured ?

A rare Stones gig on the south coast. Good venue. Easily accessible.

I would welcome that and would be there. I can get there in an hour and a half from where I live near Swindon. A relatively small stadium too so a good view possible from most spots.

I think Denmark had something to say about that, Declan.... :-)

The World Cup runs from June 14 - July 15.

England's 3 group games are on June 18,24 and 28. If they progress to the knockout stages, their next game will be on either July 2 or 3, with their potential quarter final (no sniggering, please) scheduled for July 6 or 7th.

I'd expect the tour to be over by the end of June. In fact, if the Dublin date is correct, most of the tour will probably be over by the time the tournament starts.

See, Gazza, this is the sort of reverse-brainwave I increasingly have nowadays; I sat in despair listening to that Denmark game and have clearly scrubbed it from my mind!..

The pancake thing is definitely deliberate! Cooking up pancakes AND a tour - yay!
