I think the logistical extra costs are so high that they'd loose money with exotic things like this. They probably lost money with the two Johannesburg gigs in 1995 which were 1000s of miles away from all other stops - and they never came back again. And South Africa has 54 million inhabitants, not 300.000! They haven't even played Honolulu for 20 years probably because it's hard to make profit there considering the additional costs compared with "normal" continental shows. They haven't been to Anchorage - also a 400.000 city - etc.

Playing Africa was one heartfelt thing the had to do:
"Where it ALL began". That wasn´t about the money.

I think Africa and India were two continents they had to tick-off their list.

The Colonies are strongly in favour!

(Right after this UK Tour we're talking about...which can be expanded to Pompeii, Iceland and Amsterdam as far as I'm concerned...)

Mick looks great, and I bet the guys behind there in the buffet area, probably don't know who he is .................apart from being a VIP.

I would guess that Mick with family would love going to these faraway places where he is not mobbed by the media and probably by the majority living there.

He has been an icon since the early 60's ,but just another guy or VIP to them.

My 2c why central part of Europe (Poland, Czechia, perhaps Adriatics) make sense for Stones to play in 2018 - logistics is quite simple, relatively high available income (in purchasing power parity) and huge demand help promoters sell tons of tickets there nowadays. Most of the shows sell out pretty fast at same/similar ticket prices as in Germany. Plus Stones didn't show up there since 2007.
See Billboard report excerpt for the latest GNR Euro tour below - tickets in CZ were more expensive than in Sweden ;-)

Yep. I’ve noticed that too. We got 2 and a half months’ notice for 14 on Fire Europe and 4 Months for No Filter. An anouncement within a month seems likely.

You can't compare this. The Stones for sure won't play for 85$ tickets in Poland or Prague. I have a feeling the "Poland show" will be in Berlin (like on most tours). Not that I want it this way.

I think this tour will be very similar to 1999 EU tour - 5 shows in UK + a couple in the biggest continental markets, i.e.: Germany, Spain, The Netherlands etc.

Yeah, very likely. Saving some Euros already for a few PIT Tickets. Amsterdam 2017 was great, praying for same spot again.
