Sounds like "normal" tickets for up to £600, sounds like 16 warhorses out of 19/20 songs. Bizarre ending for the greatest band ever.

Well, what did you expect, a free concert at Altamont?

No. Ein würdigerer Abgang wäre aber schon denkbar (sorry, not sure how to express this in English).

They will play live until 2020 at least I'm sure except a member gets seriously ill or dies. The problem is WHAT they play. I want something like Knebworth or Inglewood 73 as last show, not something like Havana. The artistical decline was dramatically since 2012, at least if you look at the setlists. Some concerts nowadays are total freak-shows (Las Vegas 16).

Good question! I think those were the words Monsoon was looking for, but it means... Hard to say.. Releasing a good album, doing a successful tour and opening the vaults?

The main thing is playing no absurd concerts were Angie and All Down The Line are the only rarities. That would be nice.

So, the obvious HOT ROCKS/REWIND songs and then, instead of Angie, maybe something else, something never played live before, like Till The Next Goodbye or No Use In Crying?

And instead of All Down The Line how about Tie Me Up, Jigsaw Puzzle or 2000 Man (or be very daring and do Plundered My Soul)?

Just those 6 would work with their current mentality of a set list, considering what they did this year, for fitting in with the greatest hits set list. Because the 1965-1981 hits are not going away - that was established in 1989. Anything newer than that is obviously a whim, other than the B&L songs.

That is still not going out in a blaze of glory though. That is outdated and has zero relevance (and, really, should not be recorded and sold as a live record and video, because, well, it's just another live release at that point).

They won't do anything special for their last tour or their last show, they would never concede to anything like that, especially if you consider the focus on quite a few of the songs being closer to the LP versions since 1989, like the choir with YCAGWYW recently.

So without a new LP in 2018, they can do the usual - the hits with the odd nugget.

“Releasing a good album, doing a successful tour and opening the vaults?”

That has been / already the case
last 5 years
so we can say goodbye well now.

And please UK’ers don’t get mad at me,
but Glastonbury, Hyde Park, O2
it’s been done in the last 5.

They don't need to change everything. What about something like this? I haven't changed too much, added no absurd additions like Tie You Up, but it's far more interesting for the crazy hardcore fans hopefully.

1 - Sympathy For The Devil
2 - It's Only Rock'n Roll
3 - Rocks Off
4 - Harlem Shuffle
5 - Just Your Fool
6 - Blue And Lonesome
7 - Play With Fire
8 - Have You Seen Your Mother Baby...
9 - You Can't Always Get What You Want
10 - Paint It Black
11 - Honky Tonk Women
12 - Little T&A
13 - The Worst
14 - Can't You Hear Me Knocking
15 - Miss You
16 - Street Fighting Man
17 - Start Me Up
18 - Brown Sugar
19 - Jumping Jack Flash
20 - Satisfaction

MMM. Good one.
The phrase "Bye, Felicia" (actually spelled "Felisha" in the cast listing of Friday) came from the American stoner buddy crime comedy film Friday (1995). According to Ice Cube, who starred in the film and co-wrote its script, "Bye, Felicia" is "the phrase 'to get anyone out of your face'".

I’d swap Little T&A for Thru and Thru (never seen it live) and Miss You for Let It Bleed (or any other thing, frankly) and could be very happy. I never collected trading cards as a kid, but am starting to understand the whole “Got it, got it, need it, got it...” thing as I ponder setlists... grinning smiley

Of the warhorses I dropped Tumbling Dice, Happy/BTMMR, Midnight Rambler and Gimme Shelter, that's enough. Otherwise the setlist would be too less realistic.

Another show after just a 3/4 year in a very small country that already got three shows after 2014 seems very unlikely to me. Arnhem and Amsterdam '17 also didn't sell out very fast. Where is it rumoured?

I meant incl. 2014. No other country of this size worldwide has got three shows since the "comeback" 2012. Canada has got four shows! Of course they would fill for instance Fejenoord Stadium where they haven't been for 15 years, but wouldn't it be a bit unfair if nearly all continental shows (if there are any!) were around Paris and West Germany again? And not one in East Europe, not even in Prague?

France is at least five times as big and has 3,5 as many inhabitants.

Rumors include a big show at 11 july in holland. Also there is no date (14th july is rumoured) for the werchter classic festival. This is the same festival the Stones played a few times.

I have no clue if it will happen, rumors are everywhere and i am definitly no insider or whatsoever.

They rather play 20 times in Netherlands these days than one time in former Yugoslavia as it seems. Has this something to do with $$$? Ha ha ha.
