There IS the demand, and curiosity from younger people, proven by Glasto and the 2 HP concerts. Plus 5 years of waiting. The only thing that can ruin it is the ticket prices. HP was £95 so if they can stick to that ...is this wishful thinking?

Wonder what happend with the Cardiff show ???
AFAIK there will be no Slane Castle show this year, so that rules that out
Birmingham is not in the south of the UK and neither is Cardiff. I t makes less sense to play Birmingham which is about an hour and a half from Manchester.Quote

They probably think that up to 5-6 shows in the south of UK (we are talking about 3x London, Southampton, Birmingham at the moment) are enough. Maybe they'll add Cardiff later if sales are better than expected.

What about the Maifeld in Berlin?
It's maybe a possibility if Olympic Stadium would not be available and Waldbühne would be too small ....
Berlin Maifeld - approx. 88,000 square meters - Google Maps

I'd like to know what happened for the Cardiff show to fall through, money, timing? Just curious considering that it had been said on here since sept 2017 that Wales should get a show on the "UK" tour

I really wonder if they're able to sell out three stadiums in/around London.
Maybe the just announce one or two of these shows first and see how they sell…

London is one of the richest cities in the world with plenty of people who have buckets of cash to throw around.
All these shows will be full.

Even in 1982 with ridiculous cheap ticket prices there were only two London shows. I don't know if they sell out three stadium shows with 10-20 as high prices in the middle of the Brexit crisis.
