I think Sympathy solo was better than in Hamburg but it's far from very good.

Night and day compared to Hamburg, no bum notes, good timing, etc...and I honestly don't remember a better version, do you ? I can understand everyone's disappointment after his Hamburg fiasco but we should also be able to appreciate a decent performance by the man!

For the German shows, no. Phones only. Don't know what the plans are for the rest of the tour but it would not surprise me if it's more of the same. I bought a LUMIX specially for this tour, only to find I couldn't bring it!

Well Keith playing a good SFD solo is an extremely nice surprise after all the Hamburg bashing

From what I just listened to is was not very good at all. I don't get it. He needs to listen to himself. Great to open with SFTD but to start a show with a guitar solo that is so hard to even listen to. He really needs to give up on the SFTD solo and let Ronnie play it. Not bashing love Keith. Just telling the truth.

Yeah it was a bit disjointed to put it mildly, but it's been that way for a long time.
Must be surprising for those who have never been to a Stones show and are only familiar with the studio version to hear Sympathy being played in such a dysfunctional fashion.
Keith looks cool on stage, and the stage along with the sensory overload of lighting, etc., is amazing, but if you close your eyes and just listen my first reaction is WTF?
