I thought the same thing. It seems it might just be an amplifier as it seems the CD was actually playing on the small "clock radio player" in front of the speakers. Interesting set up regardless.

It could well be that scoping is being actively blocked by some means, though the huge crowd of 80,000+ in Hamburg didn't help (not to mention another 15,000 listening outside for free
). I was there in a group of 10 and when we inevitably lost each other in the crowds afterwards, phone contact was impossible.
I don't have Periscope-App, actually (neither a smartphone, only a handy) but I could very well imagine, that the protocol of the App uses some particular ports that can easily be blocked if needen or asked for.
If that's legal is another question...

When AC/DC played here in 2001, they had cameras on wires parallel to the B-stage runway. I guess that isn't needed because of new technology.

The band's almost on stage and it's almost one of those nights! Wondering if Sympathy will open again? Someone mentioned maybe it's being played as the opener due to the lack of an opening video. Not sure if this is temporary or the way it's going to be the entire tour, but those opening videos always built up some tension and excitement...like the countdown to a rocket blasting off. I suppose Sympathy also serves that purpose, but it doesn't quite seem to fully explode enough when it gets launched...it kind of blasts off and fizzles for awhile. Either way, have a great time at to all who are at the show, looking forward to reading all about it right here!
