google maps says there are 1148 km from my home to u arena nanterre paris

So you're a native? Maybe I get your tele b4 I go in case I need bail, ha ha.
I'm nervous.
Booked hotel close to U Nanterre to walk to and from.
That worked perfect my last Stones show 2015 (my only other travel in years!)
Haven't even told my kids yet...
I usually travel by books only (Cornwall England, author Kate Morton)

Wow you must really love your Rolling Stones Grichka thumbs up.

Its just dawned on me the length people go to see this band.
Its touching and i think the love for them gets more passionate and intense the older they get and the older we get. Its like we are paying homage and respect for this band when we go to such lengths to see them.
Even though most of us are tired of the same old Set-list's and Warhorses ,and even though we know they are well past their best, its still bewildering to try and understand why these four men carry on like this well into their 70's. Not just small venue's and short shows , but huge stadium Rock and a show that still lasts for 2 hours.

The buzz is wonderful to see on iorr in the last few days, its nice to all be a part of this, its like we have let go of our differences for the forthcoming shows.
I don't know, it just feels different this time, maybe this really is the last time. If you can, grab a ticket and see them while you still can.

Man i hope the band deliver, i really do for all you guys, it would be great to see them go out at the top of their game, Rocking the Stadiums to the max smiling smiley

in bird's eye view: from hometown ANTWERP (Bel. - EU) to ...

HAMBURG - 460 km (285 miles)

LUCCA - 940 km (585 miles)

ARNHEM - 135 km (85 miles)

PARIS (2x) - 300 km (185 miles (x2)

...Grand total: 2,135 km (1,325 miles), or 4,270 km (2,650 miles) round-trip.

After that, I will have travelled 60,502 km (37,600 miles) round-trip to see the Stones since 1990. The farthest I went up till now was Chicago (USA) - 6,720 km; Washington DC (USA) - 6,220 km; and St. Petersburg (RUS) - 1,880 km...

I was at a conference already in Las Vegas for that 2016 show. As-the-crow-flies I figure it was 300m to my NYNY hotel room (!). Maybe 1km walk total, so easy....

Not this time: LAX-BCN, 9684km :-(.

Birmingham to Amsterdam only.

Not too far, but I have booked Paris twice, first time Keith fell out the tree and the second time my wife had to have major surgery.

So fingers crossed that I eventually get to see the stones abroad and plenty of UK shows for next year.

From Texas to Barcelona, Amsterdam and later to Paris #3. Shows 27, 28 & 29.
Last year 5 shows in 4 countries. My wife and I love to travel to see the Stones. It is a great way to motivate us to visit other countries. Safe travel to all.

In 2015, I hadn't been on a plane in 10 years.
My Father lives in a different state,
has had to come to me.
Dad is straight laced, straight up respectable. Esteemed church member.
I called and said, guess what?? I'm getting on a plane and taking a trip!
To San Diego to see The Rolling Stones!
I immediately got the BEST, loudest laugh I've ever heard out of him.
"So THAT'S what it took!?"
Yep.
