I read somewhere that for the kick-off gig at Hamburg Stadtpark about 40 % of the visitors would come from Hamburg proper, 30 % from Norther Germany and around, and 30 % from 250 km away and farer.

Came the - imho interesting - question to my mind: How far do you travel for your personal NoFilter gig(s)?

Me, I'll attend the kick-off show at Hamburg, and, living kind of round the corner, I'll take the bus for a short 4 km ride to the venue.

Who is travelling how far and from where to where?

BTW, will you be so glad to attend all shows, Bjornulf? And may we expect another tour blog from you?

I come from Düsseldorf and visit the Shows in Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Arnheim

I'm a Scot, but coming in from Swindon, Wiltshire UK. Also going to Barcelona and Paris for all 3 shows there.

So this is possibly among the longest trips, but a little unorthodox, to say the least.

I have to travel from Philadelphia to Sydney on business in October. But instead of flying directly back to the US, I will continue around the world and fly from Sydney to Paris, via Hong Kong, for the last show. Then home to Philly to complete the circumnavigation of the earth, thanks to the Stones (and me being slightly crazy).

Toronto to Amsterdam and Copenhagen, back for Paris 2/3.

I would travel around the globe to watch this band and a handful of other acts.
Was considering flying from London to New Zealand for the weekend earlier this year to see a Springsteen show but couldn't make it in the end.
Will be seeing several shows on the upcoming Stones tour.Some people don't like the traveling involved with going to see the shows but for me I really love that part of it.

From Bridgend, South Wales to Spielberg, Zurich and Lucca. Possibly the 3rd Paris show too.

Only atlantic coast to Paris (500 kms) this time. Sounds cheap compared to BV who have the biggest carbon print of us all.

A little bit different for me. I can wait. In fact, i love to wait. Every day between ticket purchase and show day is part of the pleasure. I almost miss the good ol' days when you bought your tixs in december for concerts next june.

In Barcelona, with my wife and my son (I still can't believe that my son, at the age of 8, catches up with a Stones gig!).

Gold Coast Australia to Zurich. Taking wife and 2 teenage daughters - costing me a small fortune and that's before we even get the obligatory tour merchandise.

20 minutes to Düsseldorf...usually.

If you think it's costing a fortune already wait until you get to Zurich you won't believe the prices.It is an expensive city but it is definitely worthwhile to visit it is a great city and you will enjoy.

Traveling from Boston MA to Amsterdam for my 35th show. Can't wait!!

I'm travelling from Auckland NZ for Zurich, Lucca, Barcelona and hopefully Amsterdam. I'm used to it having lived out on various islands in the Pacific for years. I once travelled from an Island called Tinian to London just to see Ronnie's two shows with Stomp. Its great to see the guys play and hang around with all the other crazy people that do the tours regularly.

Prague to Cesky Krumlov Friday night the most beautiful town in the world go have a look.and then on to Spielberg Saturday morning.....Safe Travels everyone.M
