in case I understand this and the fact that they invited a few fans to their rehearsals correctly the obious conclusion is that they have finished their reheasals and got the things packed. What will happen during the next week before the show in Hamburg? Warm-up gigs, private shows, TV apperances…? Or just nothing?

Dunno - but the Hamburger Abendblatt says they expect the chartered Boeing 767 in Hamburg already some days before the concert ....

The press/media don't have anything to say about the 10 fans being invited to two songs at rehearsals, when I last googled it about 10 minutes ago.

Doesn't make much difference to The Stones, as they don't need press coverage about what's going on at rehearsal time for bigger ticket sales.
Just a very nice gesture to the fans who were there Friday night

The rehearsals are sort of private. The invitation of the fans was equally private. That is why I don't write much about it. I just finished writing up a few pages about the day in my diaries. It is a long story with many memories, but mostly private. May be it will be a chapter in a book I will write when the Stones stop touring in twenty years time.

Ten minutes after the last car with the Stones had left the studio yesterday, 10-15 workers moved into the building. I assume they were wrapping up the equipment. When I walked by this morning the trucks that were lined up in the rear of the building were all gone. Next stop Hamburg Germany.

I agree that The Stones rehearsals are strictly private ,and not many fans, or even anybody else associated with the band, get a look in at that time.

A very private time for The Rolling Stones and all the back up staff , backing musicians and singers,to get it all just right.....................and anybody else who are lucky enough to witness it is privileged, whoever they are.

Yes, I remember that! I used to have a bootleg that had songs from 1973 Europe and some from 1972, and that interview was spliced in somewhere. It was called something like The Jean Clark Sonic Mammorial Barbecue, lol! Great boot, got damaged somehow.

I arrive in Hamburg on Wednesday night and will go straight to the Festwiese site on Thursday, hoping for a bit of what you got...
