I think I may of read somewhere that 'She's a Rainbow' is on the list of Stones songs they never played live (yet).

I have some bootlegs of the 97-98 shows with She's a Rainbow on them, and I think for the most part the versions are lame. I agree they do not match the studio version for passion and power.

A fantastic song but they don't play it right. The piano is the dominant sole instrument of the song and Mick starts chuffing along on acoustic guitar.

I heard it in Copenhagen 29.7.1998. It was the vote of the people - not just because it's a good song, but because it was used as a theme song in a childrens tv-programme by Thomas Winding (father of drummer and singer Kasper Winding, who at point collaborated with Mick Jagger/The Stones, I think), when a lot of the danish audience were children. A nostalgia choice for the broad audience in Denmark.

I have about five of the bootlegs from some of the shows listed above. They are all OK IMHO none of them even comes close to the studio version. I dont believe they have ever put that much effort into the live version's.
