Took my twins to the Stones' Zip Code Tour when they were just about to turn 5. Bought them both some headphones to lessen the noise and it went off without a hitch. There were lots of friends around and we did a cool tailgate in the parking lot before the show. It ultimately gave them some good memories (they still speak of it today) and they had a blast. Admittedly, this is probably more the exception than the rule.

My folks took me to a Jackson Browne show when I was about the same age. I still remember parts of that today 40 plus years later.

Took my kids to their first Stones show at Twickenham in 2006. Aged 9 and 7 at the time. They had a great time, behaved perfectly and a few people around us commented on how great they'd been. But then on the way to the station a "lady" in her mid 30s or so felt compelled to comment that she couldn't believe that people took children to concerts. Clearly it offended her! Tough luck babe!

I was 26 in '89 when I saw the Stones for the 1st time.
My daughters were 11 and 13 when I brought them to the 50 & Counting Tour in Montreal in June 2013.
They saw the Stones again 2 years later in July 2015 in Quebec and they will fly with me to Marseille at the end of June.

13, Mountain at the Felt Forum (smaller venue under Madison Square Garden), NYC 12/31/73 (early show). It was insanely loud.

My next rock show was The Who upstairs six months. It too was insanely loud.

For a while, I thought all rock shows were insanely loud. But I like insane loudness, notwithstanding its effect on my hearing.

I was three years old when I saw The Righteous Brothers at The Front Row Theatre in Cleveland. This was 1974. The Hughes Corporation opened the show. It was, perhaps unsurprisingly, largely a black crowd at the show which left an impression on my mind. I danced in the aisle when The Hughes Corporation closed their set with "Rock the Boat." It may be the last time in my life I danced without feeling self-conscious and awkward.

Hi,

I want to take my 10 years old godchild to Amsterdam in the Premium standing. Don't know if he's Gonna Enjoy it.

He loves to wear his tongue T-shirts.

How old were you on your first Stones gig?
Or how old were your youngest fans you took with you?

Rollinvince, Belgium

My first show was at age 17, Crosby, Stills & Nash at the Garden, NYC. 1977
I took my two sons to see the Stones on the Bigger Bang Tour. They were 12 & 10 and loved it!

"Gonna find my way to heaven ..."

The first time I heard the Stones was in 1963.
The first time I attended one of their gigs was in Nice on June 13th 1976.
Since then I saw them on stage 45 times.

First time I recall knowing the Stones was in 1978. I was about seven years old. The turning point came in 1980 when I bought my first 45 of theirs. First album in 1981. Wanted desperately to see them in 1981 but I was only ten years old. Finally saw them for the first time in 1989 shortly after graduating. I saw Keith the year before though.
