Sorry, if I'm late on this one, but

no doubt, Carly would leave Nicola for Mick now that Mick is 'lonely' since some time ...

As we are talking about Rolling Stones Ladies, he is apparently taken. Sorry Carla.

But her musical offering chez Keith and anita is rather apposite just now [www.google.co.uk]

It takes restraint to not critique
Perhaps that's the intention
therefore:
*silence*

Mick spent so much money to keep her in his bed that she refunds him a little bit with royalties.>grinning smiley<

I'm curious, for the Brits, does the American young girls language peppered constantly with "I was like," (9-10 times)
drive you crazy?
I have 2 American girls, 10 and 12 years old,
and every sentence spoken has:
"I was like,"
it's crept into my speech too! yawning smiley

I just take a listen to Frank Zappa's 'Valley girl' ......usually does the trick for restoring my sanity.......winking smiley

"Like, oh my god, like totally, Encino is like SO BITCHIN, there's like the Galleria"...............gag me with a spoon......grinning smiley

Orchestration is the most interesting

A blend of late 70's disco strings with gypsy guitar and percussion

do you think mick comes every time she pirouette's over him?

She doesn't impress with her singing, but the orchestration and the way it differs makes it a quite interesting coverversion. And the way the promo is shot is quite cool.

How can anyone defend this lame song that has nothing to do with Stones'
REAL accomplishments?

Well, Mick Jagger does: FACEBOOK

"I like the 'French Touch' you have given it Carla Bruni!" (MJ)

Like a cross between Tim Ries' STONES WORLD and Suzanne Vega's "Tom's Diner." That said, Carla still has that certain something. You can tell she's a woman who many men have wrecked their lives over.

These strings are lovely indeed! Straight out of a Bee Gees song, maybe "Staying Alive" actually.

I wonder what her husband thinks of that cover ;-)
