This Friday 6/16 I will be at a small gathering with Sacramento artist David Garibaldi [garibaldiarts.com] and I got to pick the subject of the piece he will paint; Keith Richards.

I need to bring a photo of Keith that David will recreate/paint and I have some ideas, but wanted to see if anyone had any they could post/recommend.

In looking at his body of work he seems to mostly do head shots, I'd love something that has a guitar in it, so thats not a head shot but maybe upper body shot, or was thinking of one from his wedding or Chuck Berry movie shoot when he's dressed up in a tux, those are cool pics..

Interesting - he seems to have copied the style and method of Denny Dent (RIP) whose probably best known for his large portrait of Hendrix painted in about five minutes as seen in an old Hendrix movie.
He also painted Jim Morrison, John Lennon, and Michael Jackson among others in front of a live audience.

Keith will make a fantastic subject It might be a good idea to have a guitar shot and a facial close up too, as the only speed painting images I saw on his sight were close-ups (he may not have the time to add extra details). Please post a pic of the final work here - looking forward to seeing it.

I think I'd offer the artist a choice of photos, so he can choose one that suits his style.
And yes, it would be very cool to see the resulting work.
