Zentgraf writes [www.nzentgraf.de]: "The LP is 7 minutes longer than the DVD edition, as it has more stage banter and audience noise between the songs."
Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, for example, before "Bitch" Mick says, with tongue firmly in cheek, that Jane Fonda, her father Henry, Lady Ga Ga, Tony Bennett, Miley Cyrus, Clark Gable, Taylor Swift and Dean Martin (thank you Dean, love your work!) are all in the audience.

OK, I just bought this one for $18.71, blu ray plus CD. E Bay. Couldn't find this on Amazon.

will I get all 16 tracks on both CD and Blu Ray?

Any other problems or disadvantages to this particular edition, soundwise or any other?

If there are any problems bad enuf, I can always cancel the order.

On DVD/BluRay the concert is interrupted by Interviews with the Band members ....

I wish the guitar were more up front in the mix

Now I see what I missed -- the heading for the item on Amazon just notes Blu Ray with nothing denoting CD. But when I looked at the foto of the disc cover closely, it has both in small print in the upper left corner.

Should have been more guitar at the end...fat, loud chords...canĀ“t listen to it now...just a few sloppy licks...why, Keith? Why???

All of those lack a fat chord in the ending?

Heck, he even does that on this tour grinning smiley

Is this also the case for the Havana Moon and Sweet Summer Sun vinyl?

Being a Stones fan I'm usually on getting the releases quick, but waited to get this one for myself as a Christmas present. I love Mick's playing and the whole performance of 'Moonlight Mile". That's a cool guitar Mick is playing, never seen him perform with that one before, does anyone have information on it, sorry if I missed in thread, could it be one of Ronnie's? Thanks!

It's a James Trussart guitar.
Among others you will find pics of Mick and Keith on James' website.

Just in case you were wondering what it looked like there, backstage at The Fonda.

FYI- This will be shown on PBS (in the USA) tonight at 9:00 PM Eastern time, if you care, check your local listings

It is nice of The Stones to allow PBS to raise funds using their stuff.

Caught most of it. Cranked up my speakers and it was pretty good. Keith even got off a few good licks. (Which made up for a few clams). I ignored the pointless bass. I think the discipline and novelty of playing that album completely brought them together. Moonlight Mile was interesting. Since Keith & Ronnie had nothing to do with the original, they seemed a little lost. But Mick more than filled in on guitar, and Charlie was great with the mallets. Good thing it was on PBS for free. Don't think I would have listened to it again, not like the golden age concerts.

WTF do you expect? 1972 in 2015?

Was there any particular reason they chose to play Sticky Fingers in it's entirety?
I vaguely recall it was going to be a theme of the Zip Code tour (?), but that never happened, and it seems an odd choice since Ronnie had no part of the original album at all.
Some Girls would have been a better choice imo, and maybe some day they'll do it.

SOme Girls would be fairly easy to pull off. WIth the exception of LIES all have been played fairly regularly since 1978

All except Lies have been played fairly regularly?

Faraway Eyes hasn't been played that often considering the number of shows they've played since 1978.
And what about the title track?

Wasn't it to promote the Sticky Fingers ( super ) deluxe box set which has been released about two weeks after the Fonda show ?

Would have been great if they had involved MT and BW somehow into that, but this has already been discussed...
