So it's looks like no blurry/cd combo. Only the regular DVD comes with the cd?

In Roller99's NYC press release it indicates "Blu-ray+CD", I really hope so!! Not available in the US yet that I can tell

They are stopping it, like the old soul greats do. And then restarts it. It's a homage!

Hell, I thought I Got The Blues was a highlight. If you watch/listen to Stones at the Marquee, Mick never gets the vocal right. He keeps reaching for a note that falls apart like late Bobby 'Blue' Bland.

First Press Limited Edition Blu-ray + CD

"Scheduled for release on September 15, 2017 in Japan!

The first trial of Stones in history! The "Sticky Fingers" reproduction performed at LA's Fonda Theater on May 20, 2015 released a long description of Masanori Terada, tens of thousands of characters, and the first day of the Zip Code Tour Official photographer who shot the San Diego performance, a commentary by Mr. Mikio Ariga!
Japan advance release / Japanese subtitle / Japanese commentary enclosed"

[wardrecords.com]

I'm not sure what they are saying here since it didn't translate well. Is there something extra with this offer by Mikio Ariga? First Press? Limited? The CD is limited?

I think Mick sings it fine, I think musically its a little off. Again, maybe I'm being picky by before they do the reprise at the end it doesn't build at all like it does on the studio version. The reprise is indeed a nice touch but I thought before that they all sound a bit off. Possible I'm just picky cause its my favorite song.

It looks like the CD is a limited edition only with the first pressing of the DVD or Blu-Ray. The CD is also available in the Premium Box.

Ward records limited editions are big Deluxe boxes and/or boxes with extras (like T-shirt and/or merchandise). Simple DVD/CD or Blueray/CD combos are regular editions for Japanese market. Although, they call them 'limited' for some reason winking smiley.

I agree it would have been ace with them replicating the licks from the studio version. But they did something else instead..

The DVD/BR has the incomplete show plus the rest as bonus? Why this bullshit again?

At least someone was smart enough to avoid a Bonus Bitch...
ADTL wins the title of double bonus in a row after popping up in the bonus department of Havana...
But wait...that's BTMMR,Hyde Park and Havana.
Don't know who's thinking what...

It looks like the CD is only available with the first pressings of Sticky Fingers Live Blu-Ray and DVD. Once they are gone then it looks like there will be no more CDs made. CD combo is available in the USA at Amazon.

There are limited edition and 'limited edition'. The question is how limited it is. What number are you talking about? 500 units or 10000? For example regular Marquee 71 + Brussels 73 combo was limited to 3500 (or it was declared so) but it is still available in stores
[www.amazon.co.jp]

[wardrecords.com]

Thus, I do believe that simple Bluray/CD combo in the case of Fonda Theater is 'limited' only by name, but not by number.

I was just so glad Mick finally got the vocal right that I didn't listen to the rest of the band. Honestly there's not that much left to listen to. Post Fiji Keith is sad, and Charlie has slowed considerably. Darryl adds nothing, which causes Keith to slap hands with him every five minutes, and Chuck tinkles over everything. Ronnie's still got it. Thank god. This is another one I won't be buying, but wait to see it on cable and check it out from my local library. That's how it went with Ole and Havana. If it ain't No Security, or Wyman ain't on it, it can wait.

My question is: is there Japan-only bonus-material in video or audio? Till now I would like to say: no. (Yes there are shirts and posters in superdeluxe editions I am not interested in.) I still see 13+3 DVD tracks and 16 on CD. Am I right?

Alex.

Aybody got any idea about this Blu-ray + audioCD 'combi'?

Amazon.com - Blu-ray/audioCD combi

It's set for September, 29 - which leads me to believe that it's not a Jamanese import (these are released September 15)...

But is it Blu-ray region code A, B, C, or region-free?

Sway is totaly missed (singing intonation, solos, tempo).
Dead Flowers and Wild Horses are great.
I don't like CYHMK (I really miss Mick Taylor on this one).

I just took a look at the UK Amazon site: they're listing a DVD + LP set for 27 quid.

Amazon.co.uk listing
The text does say that there are only 2 discs which tells me that its a DVD + CD (Not LP). However, it may be worth trying to get the vinyl for the cheap price - before they correct the error.

In my opinion Sway is way better than the 2006 versions. CYHMK sounds good to me, even without Bobby Keys.

Unfortunately I think Sway can't be done justice live. Similar problem with Love Is Strong. Love both songs too.

Why do they bring out more songs? I don't know.
For me it's enough to bring out only the songs from LP 'Sticky Fingers'
The rest of that gig can be stolen for me.
Or, bring out three versions:

1) only "Sticky Fingers" songs
or
2) The compleet show
or
3) 'Sticky Fingers' and bonus """the rest of the songs"""
