Barcelona and Amsterdam were downloadable immediately

If they're spending the time together in between on working on the album that will be enough to keep them 'gig ready' I would think.

It doesn't make sense to me either. Even if the core band are gig-ready, there's the side band and touring crew to all get up to speed 8 weeks after their previous show and for a single show. But that was the date in the link - 16 December.

I'll be attending the Hamburg and both Paris shows,have tickets for Front of Stage ( Fosse Or) but working on an upgrade coz I happen to be one of last Friday's victims who got rid of their pit tickets in Pitgate.
St Martin neighbourhood sounds good to me since I'll be staying just around the corner from Metro Chateau d'Eau,a mere 10 minute walk from Canal St Martin i.e. "just a shot away".

there are regular Pit tickets in the range of 200-400 euros, Paris being 221

there are those which are part of a VIP/package which start at 750 euros but can go higher, various categories of VIP/package tix which can go how high?

is a package necessarily a VIP package, are they one and the same?

what do u get if u buy the VIP/packages or I suppose it must vary according to which level you buy?

I hope to get some pit tix for Paris, the final show of the tour on Oct 22nd. Preferably pit tix not part of a package, but I may buy a package if it comes down to it. I want good tix for my 50th Stones show, and I will be travelling from the States.

How available do u think pit tix will be in the regular sale and again, I suppose it will vary by category of pit tix?

Trouble is Timbernadis, the debacle the other day seems to point to the promoters not wanting to sell PIT tickets outside of packages. I doubt anyone will see a No Filter PIT in the general sale.

As for the 750 Euro package, it comes with a lithograph and some other merch. But from the breakdown of the package on Ticketmaster.fr, it says 221 euro for the pit and 500 Euro plus for essentially the privilege of being able to buy the 221 Euro ticket.

I'm in a similar boat to you, I want to be in that pit but not for 750 Euro. But I reckon closer to the time the PIT should be straightforward to get in to.

France Does'nt send to the States i used to have them sent to my Uncle's house in Toronto they deliever to Canada but not the Staes on ABB anyways

As well as Pit as part of 'Start Me Up' VIP packages, some venues (Stockholm, a least) are also selling Pit tickets as part of their 'platinum' offerings. This may be just the shows being sold by Ticketmaster, as I think Platinum tickets is a TM invention - they are high priced premium tickets (ie good seats) sold at dynamic pricing (ie they start at a high price, start dropping if no-one is buying at that price, and start rising again once someone starts buying) - more like airline ticket pricing than traditional concert tickets.

This method was used for a lot of seats in the front 15 rows on the Zip Code tour, where there was no GA. If the seats didn't sell, they were eventually released as normal priced tickets near show date.

For Stockholm, I bought a pit ticket via the Platinum route for £575. They may have dropped lower if I'd waited, but if Pit is genuinely a 400 capacity, I was worried about them selling out. The Start Me Up package was approximately £800, IIRC, so I didn't need to spend £200+ for a lithograph and a travel pack...

That sounded (somewhat) promising but in Paris the Platinum Packages are even more ridiculously priced than the VIP packages :



Of interest too on the TM page is the detail of the Platinum Packages below. I don't know if it means that the first row above the floor is #7 ?

Remember, these are dynamically priced - if they don't sell at 850E, the price will drop. They are obviously expecting demand for Paris to be high (probably correctly).

Not sure I believe that; they always have extra tickets that they can add into the pool, at a higher price.
