The Stones will NOT play a show tonight. They never did the day before a big show - at least in the past 20 years. However, they might show up (Mick and Ron) but there will be a great live show tonight - somewhere else. smileys with beer

The last time the Stones played 2 nights on the trot was in the Netherlands in August 2003 on the Licks Tour. They tried at Twickenham the follOwing week at but Mick was strongly advised by his doctors not to do so and one of the shows was postponed by a month.

If You're referring to the Amsterdam gig(s)They did not actually play two shows in a row on that occasion, Greg. I remember it really well because I attended the first show (which was not their best, imo) and had tickets for the second one, which got cancelled. I saw the Stones leaving the hotel, though.

The second show was also chosen as the one stadium show to be shot for the Four Flicks DVD, but as it was cancelled the Twickenham show made it to the DVD (I think some shots of the audience were taken at the first - and only - show in Amsterdam).

Guys make a smart choice and go to see the IORR band. I can tell for a fact that the boys in the band will be on full cylinders tonight!!

Buongiorno WS! I didn't mean Amsterdam - it was the 2 shows on 15/16 August in Ahoy and Vredenberg. See link.

Wish I was in Amsterdam. I'm now in Madrid, all booked before I knew about the IORR show. Madrid's a nice city too. I'm still on a high from the great show in Barca.

They ought to do a club gig.
After all, the city has been home to the group's main HQ for the last 40 plus years.

Do you think we il see the second stage setup with the square pit in Amsterdam?

Or do you think it will be only for the smaller settings in Arnhem&Paris?!

So excited for second part of the tour, the indoor show are gonna be different I hope

Let’s all be thankful that in late 17 we re still going to a Stones show

Can’t wait to see you guys in Düsseldorf & Paris!

They are still football stadiums, closed roof or not.
I expect the stage set to be the same.

This stage will not fit in the U Arena in Paris.
They talked about how “adaptable “ this stage is.
On the Stufish website there is a plan for 2 stages (catwalk/square pit)

And about the set list I m not hoping for a complete overhaul but some songs that feel better to Mick indoors. (Return of MrD,more B&L songs...)

I have a large apartment that I cannot use in the middle of Amsterdam -- great location.

It is reserved for 3 nights - the night before the show, the night of the show, and the night after the show.

Does anyone need an apartment? Please contact me at vchalcraft@yahoo.com or text my US cell: 1-312-391-5537

this is still available...but you will pay the mgmt directly. however, the price will be greatly reduced due to my deposit paid

Its ok. But not as good as its neighbouring Ziggo Dome or an outdoor field/park. Seen them 3 times in The Arena, It also depends if they close the roof or not imho. There is some chance on rain between 12:00 and 15:00 btw.
