I got standing tickets for the field, entrance G, which means Ronnies side of the stage.
The stage will be in the penalty erea at the left side of this picture.

Amsterdam Pit ticket in the Platinum package is 1195E. On the Dutch TM it literally says (under Event Info): "Platinum tickets are the best seats in the house which are sold at the request of the artist."

If it is not true, The Stones should really sue TM. If it is true, then it is extremely sad.

I have been to Amsterdam many times
It is best to stay in the area of centrum the centre area if you want the convenience of being close to everything but it will be pricey
If you want a cheaper option then consider staying at the airport it will be much cheaper but you can reach the city centre by train in under 15 minutes the trains run all day and night.
