Still waiting to hear from the promoter as to how they're going to fix the "No Filter Pit" issue. I don't want to arrive in Hamburg in a bad mood. This concert is very important to me. I think everyone here can identify with that.

Great opening acts, i think.

I don´t know much about Kaleo, ´cept for their single (which I don´t like too much...), but maybe they are great live. I´m really happy about the Hellacopters and the Rival Sons (in Copenhagen)! Great Rock Bands!!!

I would have loved to see Leon Bridges, what a great Soul artist, but i just can´t make it to the Arnhem gig.

Hamburg, here we come. Let´s boogie, everybody. And be nice to each other...

This is exactly what I want to hear before the Stones come on:

Coming from Iceland, at least they shouldn't be fazed by the weather in Hamburg.

Leaving work in half an hour to head for Stansted Airport and fly to Hamburg. 1st show since Stockholm 14OF. I will be at the Stadtpark tomorrow hoping to catch a Soundcheck. Getting excited. I might be 50 but I'm like a kid at Christmas just as I was before my 1st show in 1990. I love going to gigs and am a fan of U2, Macca and the Who as well but no music reaches into my soul quite like the Stones. I've been on a huge high for days afterwards, every time I've seen them. smiling bouncing smiley

Hoping for a good performance with a surprise or 2 but there's always a goof or 2 on 1st nights - there certainly was in Oslo 3 years ago grinning smiley Thankfully nowadays the band usually just laugh it off.

Could be that they do it like in Werchter (ABcool smiley.
Just after you entered, and started to run, you got a wristband. Different colour
for Ronnie and Keith side. Nobody knew where to run. I gave up and took the front of the B-stage.
God forbid...
Hope someone will find out how the Pit will work...

The FOS does in fact look good, possible they will play some blues at the end of the catwalk. This is great for everyone. But it's not the 400 people capacity area directly in front of the stage. All I'm saying and hoping is there will be an equitable compensation. Guess I will have to talk to someone when I get there. I'm very upset about the price and it ends up being the usual FOS that we used to get for free. This can not be justified in my opinion. Maybe they'll be good to me and I can eat my words. I'd be okay with that. Anyhow I don't want to bring down anyone's good time, suppose I'm trying to share my experience and thoughts with others in the same situation.

Compare that picture to the schematic used to sell tickets and you should have no problem seeing the difference.

..."difference": yes - there's a catwalk in the middle. But (handling an) 'issue' implies it's a "problem" - and thàt I don't see... not really.

The Landhaus Walter is located at the Stadtpark Hamburg. They do have a Stonesparty during afternoon and evening (and night) which is for people who do not join the concert. BUT their party goes on after the concert. BUT it costs EUR 10.00 entrance fee after 11 pm. And it's an outdoor party. They do have some umbrellas and pavillons but not for all fans. It's ment to be an outdoor event. It depends on the weather how many people will show there for the party. And you can't make a reservation for it (only for the whole party thing / tickets on eventim).

So we from the "Stonestreff" will probably have an agreement with the organizer, Uwe Mamminga, who did concerts like with Charlie (ABCD..), Bill or Mick Taylor, that we inform him how many people will show up. If one of you is really sure to show up and join us, please send me an email (deadline tomorrow afternoon). It's logical that I can't tell him 40 and only 10 show up. Because they are all tired or so...

B-Stage.

Well, there is a B-stage but is it just a catwalk? Or will there be drums and keys also? A little B&L set? What do you think?

There is no enough place from drums and piano and dancing / posing

Have a look at the drum kit. It stands on a black Podest. Was this the same case in the last tours? if no, maybe they can roll this whole Podest to the B-Stage?

dont agree, and it's pretty clear that this is no usual catwalk. dont think the 2002-2003 bstage was much bigger. chuck was standing in a corner with kb at the time. judging from the proportions in the picture (people, drumset) ther's plenty of space.

yeas, as I have said in the previous pages here, I would bet some euros on a B&L blues set up front. And Keith's guitar showcase on instagram kind of confirm the POSSIBILITY
