"But despite his concerns for the health of the tree,..."

I'm more concerned about the color of his sneakers, that ethereal glow in the shade hue of blue -- is the sponsor of the next Stones tour going to be General Mills?

But in the spirit of things...

"My tree, to do what I want..."

or

"I'm just jumpin' off a fence
News will say I got no sense..."

Yes those sneakers are blinding...

And it looks like a patch of poison ivy he had to tromp through...maybe the glowing shoes are coated in a repellent?

I've just come back from walking the dog in the park and we passed that very tree ... how bizarre !

Didn't see Mick, but the dog took the opportunity of cocking his leg on the tree.

He has impeccable taste in trees does that dog - as it would seem does Mick !! grinning smiley thumbs up

I got nasty habits, I take shade at three
Yes, and the leaves I eat for dinner
Must be hung up for a week
My best friend, he shoots nesting birds
And feeds them to his squirrels
Don'cha think there's a place for you
Underneath the tree?

Keith never had a problem with trees. Keith had a problem with the ground.

He WILL indeed, and he DOES !! He's not mine actually, he belongs to my neighbours, but I love him madly because he's got a serious doggy rock n' roll attitude ...... which is basically something like 'if I can't eat it or f**k it, I'll p*** on it !!

Well he's recently planted seeds that took root and bore fruit. A lot of guys his age would be soiling those sneakers. They'd need a graft or a transplant!
