I wanted to buy the cd but the shipping is almost the cd price.
So I will go for the download; Fantastic harp and guitar on DOO DOO DOO HEARTBREAKER.
This is the kind of collaboration I really like with great artists. Always hoped for another Bowie/Jagger serious work together

finally got around to listening ... so far the best track is Sympathy. Easily the best cover I've heard of it, better than G&Roses, Motorhead, Ozzy.

So far the others are okay, Play With Fire is my second fav at the moment.

Also inspired by Massive Attack's Teardrop?

Although I'm not that charmed by the concept that is converting, or if you like "reducing" great Rolling Stones songs to a more or less predictable trademark Chicago Blues style I must say the band/ musicians are doing a splendid job in their chosen field. True professionals. Metamorphosis part 2 and better.thumbs up

"Angie, I Go Wild and Play With Fire are fantastic!"

I would add SFTD, Dandelion.

"Angie" is played like a blues; E/B/A then G/C/D.As strange as it may seem, it really works well. The feminine and sensitive Jagger's interpretation is replaced by a rough and manly point of view supported by the Chicago blues style arrangement. Awesome!!
Rockandroll,

I didn’t listen to this version but love Buddy Guy, and hate whatever white dude is on the cover/ not attractive, sorry, don’t try to do RS tounge w/ inside your mouth.

Since I’m being witchy,
after hearing the RS 1973 live version of that
‘Doo Doo Doo song’
Bedspring Symphanie
it spoilt the others,
unless I see it right in front of me.
P.S.
RS please sell ‘Brussels Affair’ as a download/ audio only
I don’t know why I’m witchy, just saw Mick cha cha cha’ing on daily mail for Easter.

I buyed the download , the minute it came out. But when John Primer came to Amsterdam last year, I asked his manager ( his wife) to bring the cd with them, because shipping was more expensive then the price of the cd. So they did , and at the show John signed the cd's .
The John Primer show in the QFactory was aweseome too ! thumbs up

Just to clarify, in case it’s murky:
Mick Jagger is the only man’s mouth I want to see pictures of- it is HIM, after all, right, all this nonsense of others sticking their tounge out for a look see down the throat.
Only Mick. Glorious no matter what ‘bad’ ‘worst ever’ pics you choose to post.
He IS the mouth.
I think I’m clear LOL

Just listening to Out Of Control on this fantastic album.

If you thought Blue And Lonesome was good, just listen to Chicago Plays The Stones.

If the Stones themselves want to be certain of another Number One album, they should take some of their back catalogue into the Chicago blues style themselves.

If you love the Stones get this album and play it loud !
