Wow, most uninspired tour announcement ever !

"The Rolling Stones will play thirteen shows in twelve different venues across Europe in September and October. STONES – NO FILTER sees Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood back where they belong, out on the road, playing to packed stadiums."

According to Rockerparis FB page the tickets for the Nanterre concerts will be on sale from May 17.

Nope .. not a peep. The most elusive new Rolling Stones studio album ever thus far.


Almost a year and a half in the making .. and no official word or even 'general' time frame of release.. ....

I suspect this recording segment (in May / June) will either make it .. or prolong it into next year. In other words they will either finish it off within the next two months or it is still a long while to come and we can expect nothing this fall or perhaps Winter studio wise from them.

In 2018 hopefully they'll touring Asia/Australia and then UK in the summer

According to BILD: Ticket prices starting from 60 € in Germany. You'll probably sit on top of the stadium roof then.

Nowhere in Europe will stomach the £375 they charged at the O2 in 2012 so the UK must be attractive financially to them. I think they have something up their sleeve; either an announcement a little while later or UK only gigs next year. I still think their final show - if they actually plan it that way - will be in the UK.

Probably when the album is finished and out. A perfect homecoming, rounding it all off in their homecountry in 2018?

Unexpected tracks in stadiums? Mick? This will never happen. one at he max each night. To me this sounds like selling the same old sh.. for the 100st time over and over again. Poor attempt to make it interesting once more.

Will not join - except for Lucca probably, which is the nicest location of the whole tour.
