Yes, a friend of mine from Germany got a pit ticket, no VIP, for Dusseldorf for 830 euros.

Frank, what r u doing up at this hour, then again, what am I doing up at this hour?? Just practicing for tomorrow night I guess

Tomorrow night the general Paris sale starts at 2 am Mountain Time so I may be up all night trying to get tix, but maybe I can save myself some time and grief by just going for the VIP/Package/Pit right away, that is, assuming they are available.

OK I have some questions about Pit tickets, let's see if I have this right:

there are regular Pit tickets in the range of 200-400 euros

there are those which are part of a VIP/package which start at 750 euros but can go higher, various categories of VIP/package tix which can go how high?

is a package necessarily a VIP package, are they one and the same?

what do u get if u buy the VIP/packages or I suppose it must vary according to which level you buy?

I hope to get some pit tix for Paris, the final show of the tour on Oct 22nd. Preferably pit tix not part of a package, but I may buy a package if it comes down to it. I want good tix for my 50th Stones show, and I will be travelling from the states.

Plexi

As well as Pit as part of 'Start Me Up' VIP packages, some venues (Stockholm, a least) are also selling Pit tickets as part of their 'platinum' offerings. This may be just the shows being sold by Ticketmaster, as I think Platinum tickets is a TM invention - they are high priced premium tickets (ie good seats) sold at dynamic pricing (ie they start at a high price, start dropping if no-one is buying at that price, and start rising again once someone starts buying) - more like airline ticket pricing than traditional concert tickets.

This method was used for a lot of seats in the front 15 rows on the Zip Code tour, where there was no GA. If the seats didn't sell, they were eventually released as normal priced tickets near show date.

For Stockholm, I bought a pit ticket via the Platinum route for £575. They may have dropped lower if I'd waited, but if Pit is genuinely a 400 capacity, I was worried about them selling out. The Start Me Up package was approximately £800, IIRC, so I didn't need to spend £200+ for a lithograph and a travel pack...

Bjornulf, do you think the 6th October will be filled with another show? You said 4 shows in Germany in your first rumors (as well as Zegut) and Berlin is en route between Copenhagen and Düsseldorf. What do you think?

Probably not. Otherwise they really had to play every three to four days over seven weeks. Berlin was negotiated, but they couldn't find a venue. Olympic Stadium is not available during soccer season, Mercedes Benz Arena too small (Waldbuhne probably the same).(See local newspaper info online via google)

Germany sold out

Due to the Magazine "Musikwoche" all three German Gigs are sold out now...

nothing is or will ever be sold out

September zeichnet Barracuda Music verantwortlich.

Termine:

09.09.17 Hamburg, Stadtpark Festwiese

12.09.17 München, Olympiastadion

16.09.17 AT-Spielberg, Red Bull Ring

09.10.17 Düsseldorf, Esprit Arena

Then I expect one more show in Germany, before the Düsseldorf gig there is enough time isn't it ? One more Paris is also in their plans IMO. They wont play more than 15 gigs this year, that's sure.

Obviously no problem in Düsseldorf with a second league football team using the stadium.

German shows are far from sold out. They took a break at Eventim. Tickets presently being sold at ticketmaster.de as Platinum Tickets. And they have more unsold seats than the seat maps show. Also tickemaster.de links to Seatwave. Prices will go down. The German market is not ready for 700+ EUR seats.

I got 2 pit tix for the normal price for Barcelona.

Via App? You didn't get error during payment process via Ticketmaster??

Yes via the app and yes my payment went thru, although I couldn't tell if it had been processed. But then I got a confirmation email shortly thereafter.

If the pit is not full before show start, they simply open up so that fans from the outside GA area may get in slowly and discrete, no rush. I have seen this many times across the world, but not may times lately. It was more common in Europe may be 10-15 years ago. The pit will always be full by show time. Always.

I'm confident of that Latvian. I bought a return air ticket from Stansted to Hamburg this afternoon thumbs up. I will wait and buy on the day.

I am looking for travel advice please. Going to Spielberg, Zurich and Lucca - got my flight to Vienna booked, and a return home from Bologna, but looking for advice on travelling between the 3. My wife and I would like to do 1 train journey but which would be the more scenic? Obviously time and cost are factors too and haven't decided exactly where to stay yet - Zurich is a given but probably Vienna and Pisa (or Florence) for the others. Cheers.

This website has all of your railway needs...

Zurich to Milan is a very pretty journey in itself, but if you have the time go to Chur (or Tirano) and take the Bernina Express - one of the most amazing journeys I've ever taken.

Look at the guns and roses shows, they tried to sell all kinds of vip packages for the FOS section. And now, just a few weeks before the show, you can buy all kinds of FOS tickets for 160€ via eventim....
If you have the nerve, just wait and grab your tix for a reasonable price in august smileys with beer

Germany Pit tickets, NO VIP, are 830 Euro!? Well, at least they are being honest. For Paris, Pit is the same price, but they call it a "Start Me Up" VIP package, and give you some lithographs and other junk you don't want. It's the same thing I guess.

I think that's the case from the beginning.
But be careful. The VIP Package 1 "Start Me Up" for the PIT doesn't include Early Entry!

When you have bought a PIT package for the indoor shows you got Early Entry.

Yes but if you have silver pit for Hamburg and start queuing up early there will be VIPs standing in front of you. Same goes for all GA areas but PIT.
