I love the Hampton show, but could you recommend me another soundboard quality show from the 81 tour? Thanks!

I like the rough early shows prior to California with many mistakes and some rarities: Philly, Buffalo, Rockford, Boulder, San Diego. They're not all available as soundboards, though.

I have found audio for Philly #1 on youtube. Quality is OK, not sure if it's available as a boot.

My first show ever was Buffalo 9/27/81. There is a soundboard that is very rough and raw, you really get a feel for the show. The other soundboards from this tour are also great listening.

I know there is a soundboard of HARTFORD, CT 11-9-1981( the first show), but it seems harder to come by than the second night. Really would love the 11-9-81 show since it was my second Stones concert and I was lucky enough who had a friend that scored us 3rd row seats

If you have Hampton (audio or/and video) there is no need for anything else from 1981 really. Everything else is above par value. Go for the 1982 tour instead. Leeds for example is a good complement to the Hampton show.

Really can't go wrong with that. You won't find 2 better recordings to represent both 81 and 82.

I love the playing in LSTNT but the mix could be much better. Vocals don't sound too good, maybe too loud compared to the music.

In superb stereo soundboard quality are these ones available but sort of hard to get.

3xChicaco
3xNew Jersey

2nd washington

New Orleans

Phoenix

2xPontiac

Final Hampton which was dec.19th 1981 and even better than the day before was.

Rest of the sbd´s are MONO recordings, but pretty good ones they are, also 2nd Seattle is worth to be noted.

Saint Paul , Minnesota ..... for the sound / performance quality

Lexington ......... for the sound / performance quality

Louisville (for "Down the Road Apiece" and "All Down the Line")

Seattle (for "When the Whip Comes Down" in mono)

Kansas City ...... Taylor on some of the tracks

The first 8 or 9 shows of the tour for some rare live songs not performed later in the tour.

Sure Winning Ugly, collect them all if you want. It's a matter of personal taste I guess. I stand by my view though. Of course.
