Does anyone know if hillside blues is on an lp version bootleg. I'd love to get it on vinyl? Great heavy blues track.

Be careful, the sound quality varies a lot between the different releases (at least on CD releases)

Hmm...
I wonder from where Hoffman got the info that Hillside Blues had the working title Red House...

Red House exists in the Abkco files (on paper), and was supposedly recorded in October/November 1970 sessions.

You're right "Red House" and "Hillside Blues" are mentionned in the Abkco files, but strangely "Red House" is 11'30 long, like "Hillside Blues"...

What a great jam this is. Is it really from 1969 in LA? Why was Bobby Keys there? I've heard some say it's from the Nellcôte basement.

I read an old post yesterday and it had me thinking this is actually Jagger on guitar with Taylor. The rhythm guitar stops when he is singing, and that "solo" at 6:20....I can't believe that's Richards.

To me it sounds like Mick Taylor on the solo

Definitely, but the other guitar takes a little solo too.

I am stumped on that ,part of me thinks it's not Mick Jagger , but at the same time I don't get a Keith vibe ? Mathijs Help us ?

It’s really strange. It really gives off the vibe of a singer playing guitar at the same time. The stoppage, the emphasis on certain beats. There are certain points that sound like Stop Breaking Down too.
