well I like Sasha; she's like the new kid; young and fresh and her biggest break and all that; it's easy to be on her side; she's not too showy; she's doing her best. i like her.

lisa was an altogether different kind of talent on the explosion meter tho I'd say. Her almost pyrotechnic vocal turns were maybe a little too much for trad old tired fans like me but she won me over because she was just really stupendous; always brought the house down; and always deserved it. She too was humble and cool with Mick; but I think she had more facility, more easily relating to him on the big stage with the right amount of drama but a little humor and affection in there too. i mean i liked them best when there wasn't any harmony singers frankly; the rare slightly off key live Keith bark was plenty and more; a thing of it's own rank and driving beauty...

...ultimately i personally do not feel that ANY of their side people or back up singers are ROCK AND ROLLERS and do not think they really do anything particularly creative or dynamic or interesting much. i'd have to give Lisa points for her little featurette; i mean there is not a thing 'wrong' with it and a lot of it has great spirit when she's out there. i like sasha too; i mean i don't particularly dilike 'em at all but man i don't take any of them as that much of a serious contributor, in a sense that any other person in the union who is in town could do the same stuff...imfo...

it's not like they'd have to skip a show if ANY of them, including Chuck and Darryl for that matter, could not make it....lets get serious. if the Ox could die just exactly as The Who tour started and they just picked up Pino in a minute and went on with the tour, well u that's the kind of frame of reference that occurs to me in relation to these lesser contributors.

u call the union u get these kind of people by the dozen...they are not Stones and will never be Stones and The Stones do not really need any of them particularly imo...that said, u know...it's been a lifetime of service so i have respect for Lisa particularly but i would not buy ANY of their solo stuff or go see any of them; nor would i care if i showed up at a Stones show and they were not there...
none of the past or present...not a one. bernard, cindy, sasha, lisa, blondie, tim, chuck, karl, none of them mean anything much to me except as asterisks or footnotes....
tney are not bobby or nicky or stu level contributors...mick could do the show without one harmony from anybody including Keith; tho wasn't '69 perfect with Keith on harmony mike?

Lisa. No disrespect to Sasha is getting better all the time. But Lisa for me.

I did like Lisa for the most part, but it was nice to see someone new.
Lisa sort of blew the roof off of Gimme Shelter - at times not in a very pleasant way, while Sasha stayed truer and closer to the original version.
I'd say it's a tie, but glad they made the change.

Who really cares? They're pretty interchangeable. I watched Tokyo 1990 last night. It was a younger Lisa, but still, neither is that important.

I think Lisa. She has a better voice, and...not less important: is more sexy (at least IMO).

Was fortunate to be at that concert where Lisa "passed the torch". It was the night before DT2.. Great moment. Keith and Charlie showed up as well. Still think it's odd that Lisa came all that way to Indio without making an appearance at DT..

Sasha has amazing pipes and a sweet spirit, but if I had to cast a vote, Lisa would get it..

Unfortunately I've not seen Sasha live but Lisa gave me the shivers while singing Gimme Shelter at some of the concerts in the past

Lisa was great but judging by Havana Moon, Sasha is providing some fresh energy to the band and seems to be fitting well. You can tell that Mick is enjoying interacting with her.

"Gonna find my way to heaven ..."

Lisa - she earned her spot. But she also earned the right to go work on her own projects. Hope to see her with them again, but know it's unlikely.

I love Lisa and what she's done for the band all these years. Audio and visual attraction.
Was not too fond of her input on "Night time is the right time", though. But Monkey Man
and Gimmie Shelter were amazing in 1994 and 1995.

That said, Sasha had a hard job to fill the space, but she did mighty mighty fine.
I did not have the chance to witness her live, so I am judging from video's and recordings.
But I like what I hear. Blending in perfectly.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away
