Boulder 1978. There was a huge thunder storm before the Stones went on. Maybe God wasn't happy with the Kansas set... grinning smiley

Olympic Stadium , Montreal ,December 1989 trudging thru knee deep snow from where the buses dropped us off in the parking lot to walk around to find the right entrance when the tickets were printed in French and of course none of us knowing how to speak French and we were told the seats were the best half of the stadium which we were very uneasy about until we get inside and see a seating chart/diagram and we were on the field in the infield of the baseball field which was the then home of the former Major League franchise Montreal Expos (now known as the Washington Nationals ) So the tickets in French said I know I will mess up the spelling but it said "Partie" which translates to "Section"(just looked up the word for the correct spelling)(which amazes me that all these years later I can remember such a trivial detail )(so much for my brain being fried ) but we did not know .So we were by second base in front of the soundboard with the stage being setup at homeplate which most stadium shows in baseball stadiums the stage is always setup in the outfield .The concert was a great Steel Wheels concert with Living Color opening .

Oh yes, I remember. A show with rain, thunder and lightnings.
And the day before the show was sunny and dry I think.

I'd call Soldier Field 06 a case of the worst mismanagement.
For the worst weather the hurricane in Madrid 1982 will do fine

Almost Goffert Park, Nijmegen, Netherlands, June 8, 2007.

While Van Morisson had to give up completely the Warm-up Show, the Cats&Dogs-Rain + Thunderstorm stopped exactly as the Stones hit the stage ....

You're correct. The previous day was so hot and sunny that they cut the set (omitting, as I remember, IORR).

It was sure a wet one. Will always remember that ominous purple sky before the heavens really broke.

Bob Dylan - Tübingen June 21, 2015. It rained cats and dogs throughout the show (and it was quite cold, too). This was the only time I seriously though about leaving a concert before the end due to weather conditions

Rain and cold are terrible conditions for sure, but so is sweltering heat. On the day they performed in Budapest, 20 July 2007, the city experienced record temperature EVER, over 40 C!

Didn't they play during a monsoon when they were in Bangalore, India?

June, 2015 Pittsburgh, PA. The worst rain, thunder, lightening pre-show. I had first row seats and was totally bummed although I knew it would still be wonderful. Just as the show began, the torrential storm stopped and there was a DOUBLE RAINBOW in the sky!!!!

There was a show at Sheffield's Don Valley, either Licks or Bang where it pissed down really heavy, i always remember Charlie smiling away staying dry while the rest of the band were dripping. They rushed through the set that night in well under 2 hours.
