What do they do in that case? Store the body in one of the boat's giant freezers that hold the food for the passengers and the crew?
Under tropical conditions a corpse goes "bad" in no time so it needs to be "preserved" one way or another...

His drumming provided more than a feeling................he was really good.
I bought that album as a 13 year old when it was released, and still have a soft spot for it.


RIP Sib Hashian.

Cruise ships have medical bays with facilities for such an event. The body is kept until they reach the next port. Depending on where they are, sometimes the Coast Guard can retrieve and transport the body.
