Strange that they do not bring a 4K-UHD-Version of 'Havana Moon' since it was recorded in 4K with Sony PMW-F55 Cameras (probably 'Olé, Olé, Olé' too).

There're now 4K-UHD-Players from Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, LG and Oppo (as well as the 4K-capable Xbox One S) on the market ....

I was just about to post about the Japanese Bonus tracks edition as I just got an email about it - as usual, someone beat me to it. May have to get it - loved the movie! (Just wish some of the tracks were from Rio, as that was the show I went to).

$71 US (same for Blu-Ray and DVD) plus shipping. I just ordered.

amazon in the UK has the regular editions available to pre-order, but I don't see it on amazon US yet (as of March 23)

According to [www.CDJapan.co.jp] and Amazon.co.jp the DVD has Region Code 2 which is among others Europe + Japan.

For the Blu-ray says [www.CDJapan.co.jp] 'Region A' (which is among others America + Japan) while Amazon.co.jp says it's Region free.

I told in the reply just above your reply "Yes , i have almost all the Ward Record releases and they play fine."
Everything from Ward Records plays fine in Europe , i have the premium Havana Moon Box from 2016 with include The Blu-ray Ole Ole Ole A Trip Across Latin America and oh wonder , it plays fine.

The one in the premium Havana Moon Box only Japanese subtitles.

that's sad. So I would have to buy it twice only for three bonus songs... I think I'm out of this.

Yes, I saw that .... smiling smiley But it could have been it's due to a Region-free Player and it wasn't clear there if it means Blu-rays too ....

I wonder if this is keeping us away from archive releases? I saw Ole and Havana Moon on cable TV a while ago. I never need see them again.

There are bonus tracks on the Japanese version of Havana Moon and Ole? Also, is Ward a legit record company or a bootleg one? thanks!

Ward Records is absolutely legit company that operates from Japan. Their products are top notch, usually contain special bonus features (extra tracks and other nice collectors toys) and very pricey.

Thanks Ironbelly! I've seen some of their stuff of late, and yes, it is VERY pricey, and I wasn't sure if they were a bootleg company or not. I saw that Marquee/Brussels twofer, and thought about it, since getting Brussels is near impossible. But yes, they do have rather interesting - albeit highly expensive - offerings!!!

You are welcome! However, and I hate to tell you this, the cheapest version of Ward Records Marquee 71 (CD+DVD) + Brussels 73 (2CD) (I believe Blueray based combo as well) represents not the best possible package. They used fat-boy cases made from thin plastic and the outer sleeve for the combo was made not from the strongest possible carton. The booklets and inserts are OK, but overall tactile feeling for the complete package is not good. It is not like you feel 1986 version of Japan for Europe CBS 2CD fat-boy of Love You Live.

Got it yesterday in the mail. I enjoyed it very much, listening to fans, the Cuba concert, and of course, Country Honk.

The mix on the songs, Mick seems to be low. Anybody notice that? It could just be my sound bar.

Does anyone have an audio rip of the 3 Japanese bonus tracks please?

Many thanks in advance
