I know for definite that Charlie was in a film called Green Ice, and plays drums in a jazz-band scene. I think Bill Wyman co-ordinated the soundtrack, if memory serves.

I remember Green Ice well Ann Archer looked awesome in this movie, Bill is credited with the music. Charlie is not in This movie he is in one called Blue ice as a drummer (uncredited)1992

Can't believe I recorded this over the weekend(40th anniversary). I will check it out tonight...
Hoping to hear this is true and at what time in the movie it occurs.
There are several bars scenes in this legendary movie. If Charlie is
really in it... it will have everything!! Hockey, fights, boobs, Paul Newman
mysteries, love affairs, taunting, fights, hockey fights, drinking.... and Charlie?

I checked YouTube yesterday Blue Ice 1992 not 1985 movie of the same name. At exactly the 11:30 mark there is a close up of Charlie on the drums.
